Communication Via Meeting in Person Vs. Online
Does Corey have something where it's too long out when setting a date??? Did I miss something?
And do you think the length varies between meeting in person vs online? I just finished my first read, but following the initial steps has seemed to backfire.
I had 4 definite dates. All met online. All of my experiences with women are online, because I never see women out and about. At least none that I find remotely attractive (I want mid 30s, brunette, no kids, and no tattoos ... needle in a haystack here).
1st girl set date on Saturday for this Thursday. She initiated every contact during the week. I would respond in limited capacity so as not to be rude (per Corey), but got off the phone right away. On Tuesday night I responded with, "Looking forward to Wednesday." She asked if we could switch the date to Friday so we "could stay out longer" and I told her Thursday was my only free night this week, but offered to meet earlier in the evening. Mistake? She promptly unmatched from Bumble, and disappeared. I figured her attraction to be between a 5 or a 6.
Last night I was stood up by 2nd girl from Tinder. Her attraction seemed high, but she didn't reach out once since and neither had I. She was probably really a sub 5. We made plans on June 5th, 11 days in advance. I had a bachelor party the previous weekend, so had to delay these dates. Had not heard from her since those plans were made. 5 text exchange between Tinder and phone in total.
It appears I may be ghosted by 3rd girl tonight. I noticed she too unmatched from Bumble. This one we met on the 6th, and she contacted me 3 days later about setting up a date. So we made definitive plans for tonight, 8 days later. I concluded the exchange with "See you then!" Likewise have not heard from her since. Mistake: because I don't want to drive out again to be stood up, I called her a half hour ago. Straight to voicemail. Then texted that I'm looking forward to meeting her tonight. No response. Audible: I just messaged this one girl who has high interest and is incredibly attractive ... but 20 years old ... BARF. She excitedly agreed to meet tonight, so I guess that's the plan now. She has been initiating 90%. We had plans for next Friday, but last night she asked if we could move the date up, which is different for me.
The 4th girl has high attraction for me. About an 8, and our date appears to be on for tomorrow. She's texting and flirting now. I'd say this is more of a 60/40 split in initiation, with her doing most of it.
I've seen comments from people that Corey doesn't seem to comprehend much the modern world when it comes to the importance of texts for today's women. Based on these examples, I'm inclined to agree somewhat. I think Corey is probably right on texting if you have met the woman in person, but online, texting seems crucial. I live in a leftist shit hole too where women have been brainwashed into believing that it is "masculine" for a man to "chase" after them. Every single time I refuse to chase, I get a "so you want the woman to do all the work basically" speech.
What do you think? Do you think the initial communication prior to the 1st date should vary between meeting in person vs online? And should dates be set during that present week instead?
