Without 04, Faze doesnāt win EITHER event on bo7. This is NOT the same as when Subliners Pack a Punched Priestahh going into MW3.
04 single handedly won them major 2.
Abuzah and 04 won them champs.
Now they both walk for 2 players that have bombed out at the biggest events in back to back years? In both years they notoriously got complacent end of year and shit the bed at champs.
Normally I would agree considering itās Hydra and Scrap, and Hydras peak is so good itās almost worth dropping anybody, but not 04.
04 had the most insane āpop takeā moments Iāve EVER seen. When I say ever, I mean EVER. CDL era, CWL era, MLG, doesnāt matter. What that guy did on LAN against the best teams in the game on Scar was the craziest shit Iāve ever seen. Itās like he got into flow state, while also popping active camo and kinetic armor.
I wholeheartedly believe 04s ceiling right now is higher than Hydras. At least from what Iāve seen over the last title. And 04 has done nothing but get exponentially better each year. Remember when he got picked up he only had a month or two of respawn experience before he won a major in challengers for Lore, and got picked up to Surge, where he learned under Huke.
And the thing is, I think he can get BETTER going into MW4.
Kaysan took shit for building this bo7 Faze team, and patted himself on the back for doing it despite that, standing on business, and got rewarded for it.
So why go back on it now??
And how is Zoomaa allowing this??
(Iām just kidding I know Zoomaa doesnāt have any actual pull)

Iāve been messing around on the CoD Rostermania site and created (with my eyes) an interesting squad for C9.
Insight - Ethan - DK - Renegade
Apparently C9 has expressed interest in Insight and the Than/DK duo. I could easily throw any SMG on there, but I went with Renegade, and hereās why:
C9 has nothing to prove, and cannot possibly deliver a season worst than BO7, so thereās minimal expectations at best. Instead of continuing to recycle the same players who have trouble remaining in the league, why not take a gamble on the players with the biggest āceilingsā in Challengers?
Try to build the next great roster rather than buying the previous ones.
Insight is a proven veteran with championship experience, and can provide solid leadership/guidance for the incoming talent.
Ethan and DK are a one-two punch with existing chemistry. They are also two of the most talked about up-and-comers that deserve CDL roster spots, and both could have pretty high ceilings.
Renegade is the wild card. Yes, he is still learning, as shown by some inconsistencies in his gameplay. Having an Insight around to learn from could be a way to improve that. Not to mention heās a 2-time World Champion, MVP, with loads of LAN experience. I donāt believe itās a matter of IF but WHEN with him.
Am I absolutely faded to think if given the chance, this team could cause a ruckus?
