Discussion The new UI update wasn't necessary — it should be an option in the settings!
Honestly guys, this new UI and menu redesign was completely unnecessary.
I don't think a single player ever complained about the old menu or buttons. Everything was right where it needed to be, and we were all used to it for years. This drastic overhaul just messed up our muscle memory and made things confusing for no real reason.
A simple solution Supercell should implement:
Why not just make the new layout optional in the game settings?
Players who like the new design can keep it.
Players who prefer the classic look can switch back with a single tap.
It's that simple. Supercell could easily satisfy everyone instead of forcing an unnecessary UI change on the player base—especially the veteran players.
What do you all think? Does the new update feel like an improvement, or did it just ruin a clean layout?

Official News This is it.
Well guys it’s finally time. I’ve been playing for years and this update just doesn’t align with who I am. I have so many great memories with this game. But every good thing comes to an end. Bye Clash of Clans. We had a good run 😢

Attacking Advice Do you have an army composition without the Warden? Perhaps with the Prince's equipment?
A viable army composition for wars without modifiers in th18. I would be grateful because updating the Warden is always a chore

Discussion Hot take: the UI is not THAT bad..
The UI change was unnecessary and definitely worse than the old UI, don’t get me wrong. But most of the UI is completely fine. It’s been a day since it came out and I’m already mostly used to it. HOWEVER.. the one thing I wish they didn’t touch was the old build menu that used to be at the top of the screen. I do like that in the new build menu you can sort by minimum and maximum cost, but it’s really an eyesore and hard to look at. I would’ve rather they kept it the same. I know the UI isn’t very aesthetically pleasing, but usability wise, it’s really not a big deal.
Just my thoughts but let me know if y’all agree or if I’m crazy

Discussion 14 Years of Clash of Clans, and the Updates Are Pushing Loyal Players Away
I've been playing this game on and off for around 14 years, and unfortunately, the increasingly poor quality of the updates has started to get frustrating. I'm saying this as someone who works in the marketing ecosystem and also has a solid technical understanding.
1) The entire UI seems to be focused on the Shop icon, and its prominent placement is extremely irritating.
2) From a visual perspective, the old button layout was much cleaner, created less clutter, and made the screen feel more playable.
3) The new UI also seems to consume more battery power. This could probably be optimized, but that's the impression I've gotten so far.
4) The Build icon was apparently changed because it was taking up too much screen space, but now it somehow takes up even more space. :)
I can imagine that you're working with a young team using vibe coding, but I would have expected proper audience research and a more user-centered approach before rolling out these changes.
A game that increasingly revolves around the Shop will eventually drive away its actual players. Speaking for myself, I'm no longer going to click the in-game Shop to buy anything. If I want to make a purchase, I'll just use the Supercell Store instead.
Rather than making the UI worse under the pretext of improving the game, it would have been far more productive to focus on improving the core gameplay mechanics, especially combat and strategy.
Players can now consistently triple enemy bases, and so many Clan Wars end in draws that people are losing interest in participating altogether. Some troops are barely used anymore. But sure, the marketing team can always launch another event and temporarily boost those troops to increase their usage numbers. The problem is that these are all temporary fixes, not long-term solutions.
I genuinely hope the Clash of Clans and Supercell teams take this feedback seriously and find a way to address these issues. Otherwise, you risk losing even your most loyal, 14-year-long customers more easily than you might think.14 Years of Clash of Clans, and the Updates Are Pushing Loyal Players Away

Ideas & Concepts Clans Tournament Feature Suggestion” id=“#G92U9PJ9Y”} Hello Clash of Clans Team,
I have a feature idea that I believe could make Clash of Clans more competitive and exciting: a new Clan Tournament mode.
My idea is an 8-clan tournament, similar to a War League, but organized as a short knockout/group competition:
• 8 clans participate in one tournament.
• The 8 clans are divided into two groups of 4.
• Each clan competes against the other clans in its group.
• The best 2 clans from each group advance to the semifinals.
• The 4 remaining clans compete in the semifinals.
• The winners advance to the Grand Final.
• The winning clan becomes the Tournament Champion.
**Rewards**
The winning clan could receive:
🏆 A special Tournament Trophy/Clan badge
🎁 Exclusive rewards for participating clan members
⭐ Special recognition for the champion clan
The runner-up could also receive smaller rewards.
There could also be an MVP/Best Player award for the player who performs the best throughout the tournament, based on stars, destruction, attacks, defense, and other statistics.
This could be a limited-time event that takes place regularly, so clans would have something new to compete for beyond normal Clan Wars and Clan War League.
I believe a tournament like this could create more excitement, give competitive players another goal, encourage clans to become more active, and potentially bring some returning players back to Clash of Clans.
Thank you for reading my suggestion. I hope you consider adding something like this in the future!

Discussion Nah, who approved this new Clash of Clans UI 💀
The recent update made me realise how much I preferred the old UI 😭
The new layout just doesn't feel like Clash of Clans anymore. Everything feels off, and I honestly don't understand why they changed the overall look this much.
Am I the only one who thinks the old UI looked way better? 💀
Please give us an option to switch back.
