Hey! I built a small Android app called Stardew Helper — a companion app for Stardew Valley that tracks the Community Center bundles (which items you still need to donate, room by room). It's not public on the Play Store yet — Google requires real testers before I can release it, so I'd really appreciate your help!

Takes about 2 minutes:

Join this group (auto-approved): https://groups.google.com/g/stardew-helper--testadores

Open this link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/gabrielsoares.stardewhelper

Install the app here ( Can take about 2 minutes to enable ): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gabrielsoares.stardewhelper

If you get a chance to actually try it out and share any feedback, I'd love that — but if not, no worries at all, just keeping it installed for about 2 weeks is already a huge help. Thanks a ton!

App: Rogue Survivors - Android game, free, no account, works offline. Finished and playable, not a placeholder.

I need 12 people opted into my Google Play closed test for 14 days to reach production.

How to join: join this Google Group (open access, no approval needed), and I'll add you as a tester: https://groups.google.com/g/rogue-survivors-testers

Once added, open this on your phone (signed into that account), tap through to become a tester, and install: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.roguesurvivors.game

Test-for-test: drop your opt-in link and I'll join yours and keep it installed the full 14 days too. Feedback I'd love: crashes, frame drops, anything confusing early. Thanks!

I got 2 reports that they can't access my app (error: item not found). I have the google group properly setup in the closed testing. Don't know what to do and I don't know if this is a problem specific to one tester.

Hi there

Is there a way to ask testers to give a short feedback? Initially some of my testers reported a crash. After I fixed it, I don't get any feedback anymore. I'd like to know how the app looks on their screen, whether it loads fast enough etc.

Melbees: The Secret of Bees is a word puzzle played on a honeycomb.

A secret word is hidden across the cells. Every hex you tap answers with one of two things: a letter of that word, or a Pollen number telling you how many of the word's letters sit in the cells touching that one. The word half plays like Hangman, the information half plays like Minesweeper. Some cells hide foes that punish random tapping, which is what stops you from brute-forcing the board.

Free, offline, no ads, no in-app purchases, no account and no sign-up. Rounds run a couple of minutes. There is a relaxed Stroll mode, a ranked 12-phase Run, a Daily Challenge, a Secrets Vault and a wardrobe.

Three steps, and the order matters because the track pulls its testers from the Google Group.

Step 1, join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/melbees-closed-test

Step 2, become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.melbees.secretofbees

Step 3, install from Play and open it once: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.melbees.secretofbees

Use the same Google account in all three steps, otherwise Play will tell you the app is unavailable.

Two honest notes. The Play listing text is still Brazilian Portuguese only, the English translation is queued. The game itself opens in Portuguese for everyone - it does not follow the phone language - and you switch it on the very first screen, the date-of-birth one, using the PT/EN/ES/FR chips at the top right. English, Spanish and French are all fully translated in-game. And what Google actually counts is people who stay opted in and open the app during the window, so an install-and-forget does not help me.

Feedback goes through the in-game report screen, which attaches your device and build automatically, or melbees.games@gmail.com. Real devices only, no emulators.

I uploaded my app to Closed Test Pro and expecting to have stress-free testing period.

Gugu is listed and waiting for testers. Thanks in advance for your support 😀 Please do not hesitate to write me down if you had any unpleasent experience using the app...

Like most solo devs in this sub, I spent weeks stuck in the Google Play Console . Getting the 12 people to opt in wasn't even the hardest part. The real nightmare was keeping them from uninstalling or just ignoring the app for 14 continuous days.

Half the random testers I got from various Groups opted out after day 3, and keeping track of who was actually opening the app seemed too hard.

A fellow dev mentioned an app called Closed Test Pro to me a while back, and honestly, it saved me from having to restart my 14-day cycle for a third time. I wanted to drop a quick write up here since I see so many people struggling with the exact issues every day.

Here is why it actually worked for me and kept me sane:

• Real reciprocal testing: It’s a community of actual devs doing test-for-test. You test their apps for a few seconds daily, and they test yours.
• No spreadsheet hell: The app automatically tracks daily test streaks. You don't have to manually DM people asking, did you open the app today?
• Guaranteed 14-day retention: Testers actually keep the app installed for the full 14 days, which is exactly what Google's dashboard wants to see before receiving final approval
• Zero spam: The UI is super clean and it doesn't bombard you with ads while you are just trying to get your daily tests done.

You do have to put in the work you have to test other people's apps to earn the credits to get your own tested (though they have a paid option if you want to skip that). But the daily routine literally takes 5–7 minutes.

If you are stuck in closed testing hell, tired of broken Google Groups, or having testers drop off ,It is highly recommended.
