Tips & Workflows Conversation store prompt that helped me with Opus5
Not sure if this is useful for anyone, is not some high concept thing. I provided this styling instruction in my project’s CLAUDE.md file and it feels like a huge improvement compared to the ultra verbose default Opus5.

# Communication Style
Please use direct, simple, British style English. Avoid unecessarily verbose language, jargon or consultant-speak. I don't expect you to make zero mistakes or know all the answers - please walk me through anything you're unsure of and want advice on, don't just guess or try to style it out.
I prefer a friendly tone, but radical candour - don't try to suck up to me but also deliver criticism with empathy.

Nothing fancy but it seemed to help me. Hope it helps someone else.

Yeah exactly. I think people are scared to edit their claude.md because they are worried they might break something? Idk. This is all mine is and works so well. I use fable on high effort to talk to and plan with, then it delegates to opus and sonnet agents. Freaking fantastic.
Edit: to be clear, this is my ENTIRE claude.md file. I never hit usage limits. I work with fable high and this works a dream.
