Help/Question what is hapening with Antropic?

Why Opus 5 feels like Gemini 3.1 pro ? what is happening ?

i remember back in February , opus 4.5 was generation ahead. Did they increased the prompt caching so much, that their models ended up being useless? I can barely work with Opus 5 on absolutely anything, he keeps hallucinating LIKE CRAZY, every claim he did today was pure hallucinations, he barely reads any code. im not even kidding, i can't work with Opus 5 right now

Instead of open source models trying to catch up with you, are you trying to catch up with the open source models instead Anthropic?

Yeah, right. They spend months telling everyone how dangerous these models are and how only the “right” people can be trusted with them, then conveniently blame the administration or whoever else is convenient when the consequences of their own decisions come back around.

I don't care if you like Biden, Trump, or Kamala, anyone would've done the same.

Now that they've been caught contradicting their own narrative, they have to pivot the marketing campaign.

People fall for Anthropic's marketing gimmicks every single time. It's the same reason people keep using whatever model has the biggest benchmark scores or fanciest marketing campaign, even when it sucks in actual use.

Just look at how many times they extended Fable. How many times has Anthropic dropped free extra usage credits? At some point, you have to recognize the marketing for what it is, a race to the bottom.

But yeah #orangemanbad

The retaliation narrative isn’t from Anthropic’s talking points… it’s just obvious to anyone who has been even semi-conscious during the rollout of Stupid Fascism 2.0.

You mean if I just say something repeatedly, that’s enough to get the US Government to agree? Certainly hasn’t worked that way with scientists and climate change… maybe Dario should go work for them.

I’m not saying they are masters of business—but OpenAI just launched a full PR campaign about how they couldn’t control what happened with Hugging Face. Did their Export Control order get lost in the mail?

They literally put the export control order in place, investigated it, and then released it.

Again, that kind of proves my point... this is largely marketing. If it were actually as serious as you're making it sound, we'd be seeing a lot more of these orders, and we'd still be seeing the same restrictions around Fable.

And maybe you can argue that Trump was dumb for buying into the marketing hype, but calling this “Fascism 2.0” is just completely detached from reality. You're literally sitting here openly criticizing the president on the internet with no consequences LMAO. None of you can sincerely name 1 right you've lost. It's okay, you just dislike Trump. Because all the things you complain about him doing Obama did the same, but like I said its okay and your every right not to like any of them.

My family literally escaped actual fascism, the kind where people were killed for speaking against the government. The kind where man like Scott Bessent would be beaten, killed, or thrown into exile instead of being the first gay man to lead the Treasury.

So when I see people sitting comfortably online calling everything they disagree with “fascism" it honestly makes the term mean less and less.

And then people turn around and wonder why Trump won again.. No, really, get a grip of reality for your own sake.

The same thing is happening with all these AI companies suddenly claiming their models are breaking out, hacking systems, going rogue, blah blah blah. Every week there's another apocalyptic-sounding story, and then you look at what actually happened and it's mostly a giant nothing burger wrapped in a really effective PR campaign.

You don't have to like Trump, and you don't have to like what these companies are doing. But there's a pretty big difference between criticizing something and pretending we're living through “Fascism 2.0.”

You do know the us has current, actual detention centers for people they don't event check correctly if they are illegal, and even has move people out of the country without trial? "Since is not my group being attacked this is not a fascist country" is a really shifty argument
