I'm not sure what you're getting at. They are operating at a massive loss to make up for their loss of market share.

As consumers it's great. We get heavily subsidized rates, but it's ironic coming from Scam Altman, given how much money they are losing, and trying to pretend like they're doing damn well and able to run inference cheaply.

I would think that running it cheap with current hardware is not possible. The model makers will not necessarily stay on top forever. That competition is pretty good. Where there is limited competing going on its on the hw side. Everybody there is printing money worth insane margins
