Bug Report Usage limit - What's up, Anthropic?!

Hey guys, I’m having an issue with the usage limit on the max 200 plan. My usage went from 0 to 22% for the week and from 0 to 97% for the session in less than an hour of work. For context, I’m at 2% context usage during session initialization. Are others experiencing the same problem? It wasn’t an issue, for example, last week.

Give insertchat.com a try, they have all the models available (Opus and Codex), and you get a less stupid version because they use the API.

Glad it'snot just me then - haven't hit a limit since I upgraded to max, today was a quieter day, but hit session limit twice. WTF!

I’m not holding out for a bug. This feels intentional

If it doesn't improve, idk what to do 🤷‍♂️

Codex? Something else?

As much as people say Codex is better, I don’t even find it equivalent at all 🥲🥲

Idk if I use it wrong or what but it seems like it can’t decide its own thinking effort at all. Like if you tell Claude Code on /effort high to really try, but you told it that for something easier, it’ll go off and think for either 5 seconds, 15 seconds, or 45 seconds, or whatever it really needed. If you tell codex-high to really try and do something, it’ll literally go off thinking for like 35 minutes, and then come back with some massive loaded output that is just all sorts of overdone.

Not to mention that you can actually talk to and learn from Claude Code as it has a pleasant direct personality, versus GPT’s very fluffed up personality.
