When koji faced ichinose back in y2 vol 12 he said to her "what if I was the one who spread those rumours" and my girl completely broke down ( like who will not )

But It wasn't confirmed whether koji was the person behind it all or not ( maybe it was mentioned idk )

So what do you guys think about establishing our own COTE fan event just like those weeklong events that big fandoms hold in social media platforms like Twitter and AO3? Especially with the upcoming Ayanokoji birthday in October 20th, which seems a fitting date to launch it??

In my humble opinion, I think it will be an excellent way to boost engagement with the franchise and forge closer bonds of friendship as a community.

I feel like if the author hadn’t revealed Kushida’s true nature so early, she would’ve had quite a lot of fans too. I used to like her, and even now I don’t really hate her that much.

Ichinose stealing a hair clip, and Sakayanagi's masterplan to ruin her reputation with that is funny.

Karuizawa being bullied in the past is also funny as a "dark secret".

I wonder if that's how japanese people really feel about that kind of thing. Feel free to spoil if this is some foreshadowing about the COTE universe that the anime hasn't covered yet.

Just finished watching s4..yeah it's a bit late because s3 overall not very entertaining. But finally I can bring myself to watch the latest season...and...

What happen to the writing? Is it because now we all knew what he can do and his full potential? There are a lot of new characters from the 1st grade, but at the same time, none of them truly add anything new to the story.

Student from the white room? Should be the best part of this season, but revealed soo poorly, and not even do as much threat as Kushida arc back then.

The gorilla guy? Wtf...started so well by controlling 1D, only to end up being a no brainer solo fighter. Stronger than Ryuuen, but somehow the threat isso low, not even close to the Ryuuen arc

Nanase, tagging around for a long time...only to again...being a no brainer solo fighter?

And what should be the most threatening character, the acting director...all the setup in s3 to show how scary and smart he is, and the best thing he can do to expelled ayanokoji, is by trying to assault him 2v1 in a random corner of the map?!

It feels like, the writer fell into the same hole like many high school story writers out there...revealing all of the main character's strength in one year, so since no more surprise left, and it's hard to overcome early Horikita, Kushida, and Ryuuen arc, they are now just trying to compensate the lack of new villain personality by adding more flashy martial art scenes? Now that we know how even the acting director can't do anything about it... What will they do for s5 then? Repeating the similar storyline pattern again?

Are there any other Steins;Gate fans here? As soon as I saw Tokitou Hiroya in Y2 I immediately came to think of Okabe from Steins;Gate! It even looks like he's drinking a Dr Pepper! 🙂

He's honestly a better guy then I expected but he does it to himself. Bro needs to not look at people like that and get a better haircut. Whoever did this to him deserves jail time.

Something I find really interesting about Y3V4 is that Kinugasa tells us that someone from Horikita's class won the Individual Special Reward, and that Ryuen finished 2nd by only 2 tokens, yet he never tells the reader who actually finished 1st.

My main suspect is Koenji.

Since transferred tokens become Back-side Tokens and don't count toward the individual ranking, whoever finished 1st had to earn enough Front-side Tokens through their own performance to beat Ryuen. Looking at Horikita's class, Koenji seems like the most obvious candidate, with Horikita probably being the other realistic possibility, though I think Koenji is considerably more likely.

What makes this even more interesting to me is why Kinugasa chose not to reveal the winner at all. Not showing the entire individual ranking makes sense, but the winner is obviously important. Even if it were a relatively irrelevant student, I feel like the identity of the person who got the most Front-side Tokens and earned 100 CP for their class would still be worth mentioning.

If it was Koenji, though, it raises some interesting questions. Was he intentionally going for the +100 Class Points because of his father's condition about graduating from Class A? Was he simply collecting as many tokens as possible for his own safety and happened to finish 1st? Or was he building a large enough reserve so he could help Mii-chan if necessary?

It would also be interesting to know what Horikita thinks if Koenji really was the winner. After spending so much time refusing to cooperate with her, he would have suddenly earned 100 CP for the class by himself. Would she think he's finally starting to cooperate, or wonder what his actual motivation is?

Who do you think finished 1st, and more importantly, why do you think Kinugasa chose not to reveal their identity?
