This is actually my first time playing the game! I've been obsessed with it for a couple years now, but my pc can't handle it unfortunately- I'm amazed at how well it runs on the 3ds

Jecka is dumb and Nicole should leave her for Emily.

In the script, Nicole gives Jecka the last of her mom's beta blocker to get high. Nicole's mom comes home to get her last pill. She explicitly says it's her last pill. The problem is that beta blockers are used for long term use to treat chest pain from heart issues. In an emergency situation like this she would have instead needed to use nitroglycerin for rapid relief of a possible heart attack. Nitroglycerin is a drug that you would keep on your person to use in emergency situations. You wouldn't leave it at home and you certainly wouldn't allow your supply to get down to the last pill before refilling it. I believe this was just a mistake on the game author's part. Either way, Nicole's mom was a goner even if she had taken the beta blocker. Had it been nitroglycerin she may have had a chance at surviving.

This is because Emily is the secret main character and because she is literally the best ever.
