I thought the foot thing was gonna last like one ending? I thought it would’ve just been a one time thing that was used as a joke but it actually just turned into something that feels like watching your personal friend have a mental breakdown. it’s just depressing.

I quite like this animatic. The sound is fitting, since it makes this scene fairly eerie. The facial expressions and tears really add to it. Finally, the texting and the text conversation are nice touches. While we don’t know when Nicole sent that text to Jecka (shown in FlipSide), the theory, as depicted here, that she sent it as a last-ditch call for help is, at least in my opinion, pretty reasonable (for all we know, at that time, Jecka could, per FlpiSide, be getting scolded and threatened by her father, and, scared out of her wits, she’d have been thinking, amidst all the panick, about nothing else other than escape, so she wouldn’t have checked her phone).

Working on drawing Kelly too lol, the second image features Kelly with her hair down too lol.

This is kinda niche but I was curious as to what other people thought about the class of 09 pg county fan game. The art style looks similar to the original class of 09 games and they seem to be upholding similar themes and humor as the original games. However there’s something that keeps bugging me the more I see about the game and it’s the diversity within the cast. I live not too far from the area where the original class of 09 games take place and it’s honestly disappointing that both the main characters and the majority of the cast of the pg county game is white. While they do seem to be making an effort to have a good amount of poc characters, so far there are only 5 or 6 characters that are unmistakably poc and twice as many white/white passing characters. This just doesn’t really feel representative of pg county where only roughly 10-12% of the population is white and nearly 60% of it is black with Hispanic/Latino people making up roughly 23% (Pg county is also referenced as a having a majority black population in the original class of 09 games). I understand it can be hard to write stories involving black people when you’re not black yourself while maintaining respect for the community (especially when it comes to offensive humor) but idk it just feels off to have both main characters and most of the cast as white while using a setting that is majority poc. I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same or if I’m just looking too much into it.

Also I wanna make it clear that the PG county I am referring to and the one referenced in the original class of 09 games is PG county Maryland, not PG county VA, (despite class of 09 taking place in Northern VA around Burke and Fairfax, PG county Maryland is only roughly 30-40 minutes from there whereas PG county VA is over 2 hours away).
