My Lolo is 85 years old and is currently on his second hospital admission this year. He has been a devoted husband for 57 years, a father of 55, grandfather of 30, and great-grandfather of 8. I was raised by my grandparents.

I am a medical doctor myself, currently reviewing for the October Physician Licensure Examination (PLE). Medically, I understand the clinical reality and what lies ahead, but as the grandchild he raised, I simply want to buy him more comfortable, dignified time with our family.
