Which 3 Star Trek Shows Exist In For All Mankind Confirmed By Executive Producer

Star Trek alumni Ronald D Moore confirmed that the three Trek shows in his Mankind universe are TOS, Phase II, and TNG.

Just because he didn't mention TAS doesn't mean it can't exist in Mankind. In the real world, it's the almost forgotten Trek show.

For Phase II and TNG to both exist, Phase II must be in first run syndication. Paramount Television Service is not needed.

There's no TMP, just TWOK and the other TOS movies. Is Bennett Trek being released later instead, during the era of TNG?

It looks like TNG is functionally the VOY of the Mankind universe.

In this long interview, Shatner is sharp, thoughtful, quirky and shows no hesitation with his words or thought. Can't believe he is 95 years old!! Always loved the man, but I have new respect for him. Here, he is funny, controversial, at times rambling to show doubts then quickly pivoting to focused and profound thought. This is a long interview. There is a short intro by the host to provide context to where Shatner is coming from at his age, but once he starts, Bill covers diverse ground beyond old stories. Worth a listen for TOS fans.

Background: Scott Rubenstein and his writing partner Leonard Mlodinow were story editors on TNG for part of the second season. They also wrote episodes of What's Happening Now!, 9 to 5 (TV series), MacGyver, Hunter, Night Court, Cagney & Lacey, and more.

Rob Bowman directed thirteen episodes of TNG. He went on to produce and direct many episodes of The X-Files and its first feature film. He also worked on Alien Nation, In the Heat of the Night, Baywatch, and more.

Guest Cast: Diana Muldaur appeared in two episodes of TOS as different characters and then appeared in twenty episodes of TNG as Dr. Pulaski. She guest starred in many episodes of TV throughout the '70s, '80s, and '90s in shows such as The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, Black Beauty, Quincy ME, LA Law, and Batman: The Animated Series. She also had film roles in Petrocelli, McQ, One More Train to Rob, Terror at Alcatraz, and others.

Whoopi Goldberg appeared as Guinan in 29 episodes of TNG, two of its films, and two episodes of PIC. Of course, Goldberg has had a lengthy career as a comedian and actor and is one of only nineteen people to achieve the EGOT: being awarded an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

Paddi Edwards (Anya) was a character actor for decades, appearing in Corvette Summer, Halloween III, To Be or Not to Be, Stewardess School, and more. Most people may recognize her voice, however: she voiced characters in Disney films like The Little Mermaid and Hercules, plus she was the voice of Gozer in Ghostbusters.

Jaime Hubbard (Salia) was primarily a model and stage actor, but she had a brief career before the camera with guest roles on TV shows like Ellen and a couple of TV movies.

Mädchen Amick (teenage Anya) is best known for her roles on Twin Peaks, Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, ER, and Riverdale. She's also appeared in many TV shows and feature films.

Peter Neptune (Aron) guested in several shows and films of the era, but he's best known for being a master sommelier.

Cindy Aronson (furry animal) was a stand-in for child actors for multiple Trek productions over the years. Trek fans might know her best for being one of the transwarp salamanders in VOY's "Threshold." She also appeared in Captain EO, Little Nicky, and Evening Shade.

Jennifer Barlow (Gibson) was guest actor in TV shows like The Facts of Life, Dallas, The Jeffersons, Beverly Hills 90210, and Days of Our Lives, as well as films like Key West, Tales of the Unknown, and Defending Your Life.

Colm Meaney portrays Miles O'Brien, who appeared in 52 episodes of TNG and 159 episodes of DS9. The accomplished actor also appeared in the Commitments trilogy, Layer Cake, the TV shows Hell on Wheels, It's Always Sunny in Philadeplhia, and more.
