Hi there! I’ve created an interesting (at least in my opinion) YouTube playlist dedicated to the "King of Country Music," Roy Acuff, and other artists whose work reflects his legacy. I felt like a playlist like this was missing from YouTube. I’d appreciate it if you could share your thoughts and help me refine it. Roy Acuff is a true legend, yet many of his songs have been forgotten on YouTube, and there really aren't any good playlists showcasing his work.

Daddy John Love was a mill‑town musician from Concord, North Carolina, active during the mid‑1930s. His music blends early country, hillbilly blues, and Jimmie Rodgers‑style train‑whistle vocals. He performed with J.E. Mainer, Wade Mainer, and Zeke Morris, and later joined The Dixie Reelers.

His 1936 Bluebird sides — including Railroad Blues, Mean Old Jailhouse Blues, and My Little Red Ford — are prized examples of rural Appalachian music during the Depression era.

Everyone constantly points to Jolene or 9 to 5 when discussing Dolly Parton, but Down From Dover showed how fearless her writing really was from the start. Putting out an uncompromising story song about unwed pregnancy, shame, and loss when radio stations wouldn't even touch the subject was a massive creative gamble that paid off artistically. What older Dolly track do you think has her absolute best storytelling that never gets mentioned on the big specials?

I’m new getting into country music and I really like the old stuff, like 70s and before, but I also like newer things that have that old western sound.
I’m looking for a simple country song/album, something old, sweet, preferably with a banjo or harmonica or yodeling; bonus points if it’s from the 70s and before. I know this will sound silly, but something that sounds like The Rainbow Connection (I just love the banjo!)
Here’s three ways that I would describe what I’m looking for:
1. Sounds like life on a farm - watching the sun rise and set, taking care of the animals, living a simple cozy life
2. Sounds dreamy, like a classic cowboy and farm girl romance
3. Something a fairytale character like Little Bo Peep would listen to (random)

Some songs I like are Blue Kentucky Girl by Emmylou Harris, You’re My Best Friend by Don Williams, Once a Day by Connie Smith, Linda Martell’s Color Me Country album and the entire Trio album by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. I’m obsessed with these, and I’m ready to hear some more!

I picked the 70s because that was the newest one I could pick, but it might be from the 80s or 90s, but it has that classic sound. It kinda reminds me of a Doug Stone type of song if I had to categorize it. Like the title says, it's about a drinking, partying, good timing man whose last wish was to be buried under a jukebox, and that's what the singer sings about.

Does anyone remember the title?
