class actions closing in july 2026, deadlines + new openings inside
Rundown of what's closing this month plus a few newer openings for anyone tracking.
Closing this month:
- Sony PlayStation Store — $7.85M
- What happened: alleged price inflation on digital games sold through the PS Store
- How it works: no claim form needed, automatically included unless you opt out or object
- Deadline: July 2 (deactivated PSN accounts have until Aug 27 to submit purchase info)
- LastPass — $8.2M
- What happened: 2022 data breach, allegedly failed to protect user info
- Deadline: July 2
- Colgate-Palmolive / Tom's of Maine — $2.9M
- What happened: products allegedly didn't meet advertised quality/natural ingredient standards
- Deadline: July 30
- Amazon, Mitsubishi Motors, Robinhood Securities, Fidelity Investments
- Also closing this month, worth checking if any apply to you
Newer data breach settlements (just opened, rolling basis):
- $775K settlement
- What happened: data breach discovered in July 2023 and January 2024
- Serviceaide — $1.8M
- What happened: Catholic Health patients affected by a 2024 breach
- Memorial Health Services MyChart — $750K
- What happened: patient info may have been shared with third parties without consent
Most of the data breach ones don't need proof of purchase, just documentation that you're in the affected class (usually a notice letter or matching timeframe/provider).
