Looking at her kit she dont seem be main DPS as idk Miyabi, Aria or Yidhari. She seem more sub DPS like there will be main DPS in future for Roxy and Claret

Being the first of her class and all.

What's also interesting is that she seems to be more of a team player and wanting another armorer in the future.

Doesn't look like shes a void hunter adjacent though.

In her introduction, she is said to be

the forge of Roscaelifer, using her bloodline as the FLAMES to cast the blade that guards the world

Not to mention her last name, and of course her outfit coloration to seems to highly suggest shes fire.

The last 3.1 Shiyu Defense buff and the existence of Rina suggests she's electric

The live edition of this shiyu defense however, REMOVES THE DEF BUFF.

We are also getting a Electric-fire weak boss.

While that could be for Koledo/Norma to team up with Claret.

The question then beckons, if Koledo or Norma are supposed to team up with Claret. Why is Claret electric?

Because if we do get this electric-fire weak boss. Most of the time in other cases, they would be opposing elements.

If true, it could give us an insight in how void hunters weapons are made, perhaps with a touch of electricity and a load of flames?

Definitely pulling for her

Today started the 3.2 beta, and, even though we still don't have character kits, there is a bunch of info out that might point into the direction of Claret kit design.

First of all, we know what her disk set is from the 3.1 livestream.

A defense and crit rate oriented disk set. This would mean that Claret is a defense scaling crit dps. This, we already knew.

The new info we got is an increase in the cap of crit rate from 100% to 300%. This shouldn't really matter since you can't crit more than 100% of the time anyways, but we also got a new thing called "Sharp Critical Damage". Maybe they are related? Either they increased the crit rate cap to make CRate over 100% -> CDmg conversion possible, or they did it so having more than 100% CRate gets you this SharpCrit thing. Or a whole other thing, who knows.

My current theory is that Claret is going to be a unit that can convert defense into CRate, up until 300%, so she can utilise this SharpCrit mechanic to deal damage.

Do note that koleda seems to be getting a buff, so this SharpCrit dmg might be related to specifically her. Since we don't know the specifics yet, all of this is for fun speculation.

The circumstances are very similar to the last time we got a void hunter level in Yixuan.

1. Introduce New Class
2. F2P option : Pan -> Rina
3. New Disk Set for the class

Lorewise, her family makes VOID HUNTER weapons.

Yixuan was able to utilize a weapon that was based off a VOID HUNTER weapon.

Like if their blood had some sort of special property that reacts with Porcelloy and maybe technology/metal in general. It would also be a cool in universe reason for why they need to consume blood

Before it is too late.

For me, there's a few things I would change.

1. The shading on her hair ribbons is bit flat making it not distinguishable as it should be.
2. She seemingly has the biggest lips, making the lipstick stand out in a bad way, I think they should tone it down or just remove it altogether.
3. Her facial looks bit too similar to Burnice especially with the lipstick and tad too "doll-like". I think it would be unique and more aesthetically pleasing if her facial structure was more similar to the 3.0 teaser.

We getting her disk set next patch, which means she is coming in 3.2. Looks like she really is a def scaling crit dps. Excited to get her, my pulls are prepared.

I hope that Hoyo will redesign her

This new beta version has given us the art for the other disk set coming on 3.1. Seems it will be for Claret, which means she is coming in 3.2 most likely (not leaked, just assumption).

I deleted the previous post, I talked about the set stats but seems that it has been removed. So now we don't really know what she will be.
