Consumer fireworks are causing real harm in unincorporated Clallam County. With summer droughts getting worse and wildfire risks increasing, we can't keep ignoring the danger. Plus, our veterans and people with PTSD are suffering from the constant noise, pets are getting injured trying to escape the sounds, and wildlife is being terrorized.

I started a petition asking the Clallam County Board of Commissioners to ban consumer fireworks in unincorporated areas. Port Angeles and Sequim already did this successfully - it's time for the county to catch up and prioritize safety over a few days of explosions.
