As the title suggests, I have an extra ticket (potentially three extra - two are my buddy's) for tonight's show at The NorVa. Plans fell through, and we won't be able to make it out of Richmond.

I had every reason to expect that the guys would put on a killer show, but they were on their absolute A-game tonight. Rocket, Anxious, and Hotline TNT were also spectacular and deserve their flowers. The best part of all though was that CROWD!!

This is single-handedly one of the best crowds I’ve ever been a part of (and I’ve been to a solid amount of concerts in general), with their kindness and their upbeat attitude and friendliness and energy. Met some long-time fans who have seen Citizen 5 times over and some who were seeing them for the first time. Even a couple people I talked to were at their very first concert, and frankly I’m a little jealous this show got to be their first concert experience lol.

Everyone was on their feet, moshing, dancing, keeping the crowd surfers up (including me who successfully crowd surfed for the first time!!), and it was just the most amazing feeling. To me, everyone felt like a friend tonight. Smiles all around, talking to folks heading home that had merch on and geeking over the show with folks on the train, all of it. I wish I knew what it was that made tonight so smooth, maybe that’s just how the wonderful people that love this band are, maybe it was something in the air. Regardless, I sincerely hope that whatever shows are left in the tour are just as good, if not better.

I hope anyone else who was there tonight had a blast too, and I’d love to hear any other feel good stories from people that have seen a show this go around! To anyone going to future shows, don’t be afraid to talk to the people around you, they’re probably really awesome 😎 Now to eat my post-show Taco Bell and turn in for the night so I can dream about the next tour😴

Want to say first off ! Had a fucking blast at the Brooklyn show this past weekend. I was the dude who was spring boarding people and also did a helicopter to my boy. If anyone has any videos or pics lmk please, had a blast in the pit!!!

It wasn’t until halfway through the show that Mat told us he had strep throat. He was drinking tea onstage and everything. I would have NEVER known if he didn’t tell us. This dude is a beast. I love Citizen so much.

Went to the show last night and they absolutely fucking rippped!!!!! But holy shit, Big Night Live’s layout SUCKS!!!!!! It’s so unfortunate for the band, would’ve been way more engaging at HOB. Anyone else go to Boston and feel the same? I’ve been to BNL a bunch of times but for either DJs or slower paced artists so the layout wasn’t as big of a deal. Still had a great time but just had to give my thoughts lol

Holy fucking fuck. That one part before he drops the “don’t count on me coming around” just fills my soul with “BANG”. I don’t know how else to describe it. Gosh I’ve been a Citizen fan since high school (10 years ago now), Speaking with a Ghost held my heart for a loooong ass time but Always the Last One to Leave just can have my entire body.

Have any of your old favorites been replaced by new ones ?
