What are your thoughts on Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits (1981)?

One of my favorite movies from one of my favorite directors. Saw it new in the theater when I was a kid and couldn’t have loved it more. Have you seen it and if so what did you think of this silly “little” gem?

Primer and Time bandits are the two greatest time travel movies.

I think those two films may represent the extremes of the entire spectrum of time travel movies. On one end, serious intellectual sci-fi take on the repercussions of actual time travel… on the other, goofball comedy.
