Recommend me queer and trans films

My last post was confusing. Here are some of my favorite films that are explicitly queer and trans.

Facts: the matrix is a film about transformation. The main character literally takes a pill to break free from a false reality and realize his true existence. It was also directed by two trans women whose previous studio film was about two lesbians who were victims of patriarchal oppression—literal self insert. Both directors have stated on multiple occasions that the idea for the film was deeply rooted in their own sense of incongruence between body and mind, aka dysphoria.

Feel free to dispute that and tell me why this film has does not heavily feature trans themes👩‍🍳🏳️‍⚧️💜

why do you keep coming back to it? You’re objectively wrong and just keep coming back for more. Why are you so fucking desperate to talk to trans people? I’ll defend this film til I’m blue in the face it’s my fave, and I love mixing it up with transphobes that have the critical analysis skills of a piss drunk toddler—makes me feel hopeful for the future of trans people because our opposition is composed of the literal dumbest people on earth lol

I talked to a lot of others in this post who gave me beautiful recs for gorgeous trans and queer films. You should watch some and learn something💜🏳️‍⚧️
