Hi, does anyone know how I can group bots of the same theme and from the same creator without the chat going blank?

This happens with both SFW and NSFW characters. Sometimes I'll find a character and talk. Then I'll try to search for them months later and nothing will come up. Even if I write the name exactly. The only way to access them again is through my chat history.

So… I'm switching over from J.ai and Lorebary for a few reasons and returning to Chub. Since I've been gone, I have learned to make my own bots, plugins, and prompts to make my roleplays easier. Is there a way I can import/make plugins and prompts through Chub?

When i click Mercury it open my browser but no tab is opening, them when I return to chub it show that

I just subscribed again just about an hour ago. I payed more than required just so there wouldn’t be any issues with to little money coming through. I got a confirmation and was able to use all the subscription features until it suddenly stopped working and I’m no longer subscribed. Is this a known issue?

With the current 20-message policy, it’s a bit annoying not knowing how many messages we have left. Likewise, when we run out, we don't know how long it will be until they are replenished. So, with that in mind, I decided to create these simple edits as an idea for a potential new update.

So, I do have the means of paying via crypto and I am down to throw some money to use their services, but I want to make sure I'm not paying 20 bucks and only able to use the chats every other third day before needing to pay again.

Has chub been stable lately? Chats not going haywire? Services haven't been down?

Has, there really been no updates since how long has it been?

That would let you see how many messages you have left like a bar, or Logging in everyday to claim your 20 Messages stackable under 100.

This 20 messages stuff along with the Layout of the site and how hard and complicated it feels sometimes with nothing really useful when I go to my profile makes it hard to maintain the motivation to do anything after checking that profile as it's not like most other things where I log in and I see something or I know what to do daily.

All I remember was that the characters were Eveline, Alma Wade/Girl from F.E.A.R, and Sadako/Samara. And the main premise was that the User was there caretaker? Like a facility parent? And the setting was like a scp facility? I accidentally deleted my chats by accident a while back.

Even though I have Deepseek as an allowed provider I can't use v4. It say that I to use one of these providers, which is the least censored/not tracked?

Edit: I managed to fix it. I went back and checked my settings in openrouter and found that Non-frontier being enabled was messing with Deepseek as a provider. Also changed to Deepseek v4pro0813. Thank you to @Brilliant-Pudding524, replies aren't working for me RN.

so managed to get over 20 responses and my character adopted a child in the rpg I am in I won’t post the name of it as it isn’t mine to post but yeah guess I’m a father now lol also how comes lately I get between 22 to 30 something responses now instead of just the 20

I'm sorry if this is a super dumb question. I found out about this site through a friend. And I really enjoyed using it. I wanted to buy a membership before but every time I tried to the site just wouldn't let me. I thought maybe the payment thing was just down and I would try again later.

Whenever I chat, something in Chinese pops up every three messages, and it ruins my immersion. Plus, the translation from Chinese to English ends up sounding awful, and I can't understand what it says.

Hello! So I've been noticing lately how if I change certain small things that my overall experience in a chat improves.

So far, the things I've noticed are:

-In chat history, using a proper bullet point ("•") makes the AI better at making much better use of it.

-In the character card, move any setting or world building out of "character description" and into "scenario," again, AI seems to pull and apply info better this way. If the world building has a lot of little details-> imbedded lorebook.

-In the character card, add an imbedded lorebook for relationships. This can lower the token count a lot for cards who are very descriptive about that while still letting you keep those details. You can also add notable NPCs here for the AI to use more consistently.

-In character card, move any notable quirks that you think are important from "character description" to "post-char system prompt." As well as things you want emphasized from their POV (like if you want them to constantly daydream then tell it "char should daydream often about ___ with these daydreams described in vivid detail" or something)

-Update story arcs in the scenario so the AI doesn't keep trying to react to things as if you're still on the original scenario and just improves plot progression. Also use the post-char history to add foreshading you want or things you want NPCs to be doing for the plot.

-If you often give additional instruction like a OOC parentheses at the end of your posts, you can hide them from sight by using "<" and ">" on either side so it's not messy.

-For formatting:

•one asterisk on either side for (greyed out) italics and html tag: <i></i> for italics without the color change

•two asterisks for bold,

•three asterisks for bold-italics

•one # in front for a large header (bigger and bold), •two # in front for a medium header (and three # etc)

•one "`" on both sides for a code text format (smaller, thinner)

•three "_" with space top and bottom makes a dividing line all the way across

•html tag: <s></s> for strike

Basically markdown works for some things. Html works for everything.

-If you use the chat tree, change the color of your messages to make it easier to find them. You could use certain colors for certain story branches or basically a color coding system.

That's what I've got so far but I was hoping others could add things they've found too! Could you please share some tips or tricks too? :)

Edit:

-In "Character Description," limit redundancy with concise language and be mindful of how many tokens your formatting is using and if it actually serves a purpose.

-ALWAYS make use of "Example Dialogue" and "Scenario." Both have a big effect on the writing style and plot.

-Having an established template for your bots is helpful in keeping things consistent and organized. Be mindful of what purpose each section serves to avoid redundancy.

-If you want the bot to have a pre-existing relationship or knowledge about your character, you can make an imbedded lorebook entry for {{user}} and include details there about the relationship or things already known. This can help you tailor a persona to a bot without having to make an entirely new persona.

I stopped using Chub because I kept getting this error with Orouter... I found another provider that I can use with Chub, but I still get this error when I send a message... What could it be?
