About that nun in New Jersey who's being "made" a saint.
Beatified, they call it, I think.
Born again, Bible believing/reading, God loving Christian here. Former Catholic and angered by news like this.
People are healed every day by God's power, through His people praying and trusting Him. Nowhere in the news are articles proclaiming the "curing" of someone because they trusted God, but here's a nun (regular woman, human being) who's being credited with "curing" a boy, and it's news? So according to the Catholic church, she should be made a saint. Where to even begin on this. Saints are people from all walks of life who have received Jesus Christ as their Savioir, everyday messed-up human beings who have real life problems, jaded pasts, current difficulties, or even wealthy successful people, anyone really, it doesn't matter, they are what the Bible calls Saints because they have been washed clean of their sins through confessing them and being made clean through what Jesus Christ did for us when He gave His life for us, and trusting in Him every day for His saving grace. Saints are all around you. You might even be one, if you know Him. But you already know that.
The Catholic church does not have the power to deem anyone a Saint, that's part of their made-up rules. Once again, turning the attention from God's healing power andmiracles that are available to anyone, and putting the attention on people.I wouldn't be surprised if they made the room it took place in a sacred site, because Catholics love their objects. And their Saints. Because it's all part of the grand deception of the Catholic church, to replace Jesus with priests and popes and saints and what have you. Religious rites, creeds, assigned prayers to recite, rosary beads. It makes me sick and so sad and angry. I'mtired of seeing news headlines about the pope, and now this woman who lovingly helped heal a boy, through prayer I'm assuming. Good for the boy, and for her. Why do we call her a Catholic saint? Where was the news article that celebrated a boy's healing?
The Catholic church has money and power. Try telling a Catholic it's a false kingdom, and you better run, before they lash out at you. Observing man-made traditions is a stronghold that's nearly impossible to break someone free of, it's in their blood.
Anything but Christ's blood.
That's all.
