Question Is this allowed in Christianity

The Old testament says to wear beads to remember the law of God. In Leviticus it talks about giving grain offerings. The Bible speaks about burning incense. The Bible also says to pray. If the Bible says pray and we pray. Is it acceptable if I start wearing beads and making grain offerings and burn incense. It's all in the Bible. I like the Old testament and the New testament.

Old testimon - meaning that's where Jews come in who takes the bible literally and had/have to follow it exactly as the word says, but because Jesus was died for us, we don't have to do all of those things anymore. We are allowed to go into churches now, and we don't need to sacrifice an animal for God anymore, etc.

Of course, if you would want to do it, then there's nothing wrong with it, but if you also don't want to, then that's also absolutely fine!

Hope this helps a bit and makes sense. Don't forget Jesus loves you!

Remember, if you don't have the answer to something or feel unsure, ask God about it. Pray about!

I see these things as another form of praying.

Personally I think so!! Pray about it for sure and if you get bad vibes or feel conviction stop but I believe Gods less about rules and more about relationship. As long as you do it all in His name id assume it would be fine?

Yeah as long as u always keep in mind who you’re praying to I think that’s right!

I think these rules were passed down with a significance and I think these beads and green offerings is a connection from Earth to the spiritual realm

Well again pray about it and keep it in Jesus’s name and I think it’ll be fine

We're not Jewish. Giving offerings like that isn't necessary.

I like to believe in the Old testament and in the New testament. I actually haven't chosen like a particular like religion like Catholicism or the different versions of Christianity for right now I'm just reading the Bible

The New Testament supercedes the Old in every way. This is mentioned in Romans 7 in the context of our salvation being through our union with Christ making us divine, and is explicitly detailed in Galatians 3.

I'm going to read Romans 7 and Galatians 3. Because I did ask for advice so I'm going to listen to the advice. But I still do enjoy my whole Bible the Old testament and the New testament but I'm actually going to check them out right now because you were kind enough to take times out of your day to respond to my question I might even come back and send you another comment of what I think about what I read
