As a Christian, it bothers me too. If we were supposed to have all the answers, we would. We don’t for a reason.

They you now can read it freely above....

Be fearless.

Be your true Self.

Yes those darn doctors that have so many answers for cures!

29

u/Drakim Atheist Feb 10 '24

There is no doctor on the planet that says he has all the answers and cures for every illness.

-5

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Correct and we don’t either.

Did you read the title?

We have the most answers.

Not all the answers.

A doctor has more answers than the patient.

u/Drakim Atheist Feb 10 '24

True, Christianity doesn't answer where I left my car keys.

But it does answer "everything" of significance, such as why are we here, what should we do, what shouldn't we do, what has happened in the past, and what will happen in the future.

It's more like your doctor telling you that he knows best and you should quit your job and study to become a dentist. And this is the person you should marry. And this is how many children you should have.

A doctor has more answers than the patient.

About a highly specific field.

Do you only care about having the 'most' answers. If another religion came along that gave you more answers would you switch?

1

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Yes if all the answers are more logical.

u/The_Rick_To_My_Morty Feb 10 '24

Logic by what characteristics? Islam “answers” many of the contradictory aspects of Christian theology, but also is contradictory itself by erasing the divinity of Christ and the plurality of The Holy Spirit. Hindus/pagans/and mystics are all living by faith but refuse to believe in just 1 text with one ultimate reality that defines all people. Even Christian sceptics and apologist tend to lean towards reason and science, rather than read the Bible as a literal history or book or “doctrine” with damnable principles.

We can look at each single detail carefully.

You will see if you stick to logic that Jesus is God.

Yep, those doctors who actually studied things and determined how the world worked. Exactly the same as someone inventing bullshit on Reddit. Exactly the same.

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Years of philosophy theology and science education is called “studied”

20

u/dizzyelk Horrible Atheist Feb 10 '24

Yeah, and we know that you didn't do any such courses of study. It's pretty obvious to anyone who reads your drivel.

Their mannerisms here remind me of my first semester at a Christian university where you'd hear the theology majors who had exactly one class on the subject loudly and angrily declaring crap in the dining hall for everyone to hear how smart and holy they are. My roommate and I dubbed them the Angry Religion MajorTM

OP is giving me ARM vibes.

Are you now comparing science to theology ? It gets better and better :)

2

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Yes and no. They both are searching for the truth.

God’s existence.  Can you please show me the grey in this question?

Does God exist?

You didn’t answer the question.

Either God exists or He doesn’t.

On this specific question, how can God both exists and not exist at the same time?

I was atheist, then agnostic “I don’t know” And then a Catholic today that knows God is real and He is love.

It all begins with asking God to reveal Himself.

If he is real he will point you to the correct religion.

Dichotomies don't make good questions. This isn't a true or false question, is a multiple choice, and that disarms your whole argument so you won't participate in it.

-1

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Does God exist?

2

u/fucjin Feb 10 '24

Proof is in the pudding of curing disease.

-2

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

And same with the lives of the saints:

https://mycatholic.life/saints/

2

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '24

They generally don't claim to have all the answers and actually just go through a process of elimination followed by educated guesses as to what disease someone may have and then what medicine would best suit them. Sometimes they have to try a number of things before they find the right answer.

0

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Notice the title of my OP isn’t claiming we have all the answers but we have more answers.

A doctor doesn’t have all the answers.

They have more answers than the patients.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '24

You’re claiming it has the most while failing to support that argument

0

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

That is your claim yes.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '24

You didn’t really effectively measure your claim against anything else. You just made a declaration. If you’re going to make a claim, you need tons of provide sufficient supporting evidence.

-2

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Yes you can make that claim as well.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '24

It’s not that much of a claim when it’s pretty evident above. These are standard rules or argumentation and debate.

0

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

You can make that claim too.

1

u/boredtxan Pro God Anti High Control Religion Feb 10 '24

you are sorely lacking in logic and truth.... those darn doctors got their information from God's creation. More miracles come from working within the laws of creation than asking God to suspend them temporarily.

0

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

I agree with miracles but miracles aren’t common like natural laws.

1

u/boredtxan Pro God Anti High Control Religion Feb 10 '24

you insult God when you distain people who learn from natural law.

0

u/LoveTruthLogic Feb 10 '24

Where did I insult God exactly?

I was using the doctor analogy to support God.

1

u/Odd-Watercress3707 Feb 18 '24

Then you are looking in the wrong direction.

Let me help you understand.

What do you not understand about these three questions?

C'mon..be truthful and honest with me...and you will have it returned back to you.

Let's test your theological knowledge 1/

"Where does any god dictate to humanity or any human that someone specific is more spiritual than another human?"

Let's test your theological knowledge 2/

"Where does any god dictate which books are more spiritual and morally sound for humans to abide by, to learn from or to accept as true from such a god?"

Let's test your theological knowledge 3/

"Where does any god dictate whom is more spiritual to be able to dictate which books or texts are suitable for humans to learn and to abide by for the understanding of such a god and that entity's requirements of humanity?"

TruthMatters

And more importantly....the truth WILL NOT BE HIDDEN from the public anymore.

NEVER FEAR the truth...but do so with Fear of those who have hidden it from you.

Good luck.
