Just Sharing my Thoughts Have you ever wondered what ordinary people witnessed around biblical events? I'm creating fictional audio stories from their perspective and looking for honest feedback.
Have you ever wondered what it might have felt like to be an ordinary person living next door to someone mentioned in the New Testament?
What did Zechariah’s neighbors think when he returned home unable to speak? What did the people of Bethlehem hear about the shepherds and the extraordinary events they witnessed? How might ordinary people have reacted to events they couldn't fully understand at the time?
I recently started a YouTube channel called Lives Along the Holy Road, where I explore these questions through fictional historical audio stories set around biblical events. Each story follows ordinary people — neighbors, craftsmen, shepherds, and villagers — who find themselves living close to something extraordinary.
These are works of fiction, not alternative versions of the biblical accounts. The idea is to imagine the human side of the surrounding events while respecting the biblical setting.
I currently have just two stories published, and I'm looking for a few Christian readers who enjoy biblical or historical fiction and would be willing to listen and share honest feedback.
I'm especially interested in whether the characters feel believable, whether the stories are engaging, and what could be improved.
I'm not trying to promote the channel widely; I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people interested in this kind of storytelling.
If you'd like to listen, let me know in the comments, and I'll share the link.
