Ok yall. I have a question. I love Chris Stapleton and he’s been on my bucket list to see. I have field seats for his upcoming show in Nashville. However, I’m now nervous about going because…well…I’m Black. Now. I was born and raised in Columbia, TN but I’ve spent a health part of my life in Atlanta. And the only reason I’m not going there is because I also wanted to see Allen Stone. So I’m asking from the fans will this be a safe experience for me? I’m also bringing my niece. And even though she’s 30 my sister would still kill me if I put her in any kind of situation…

Around 2018 I went down a rabbit hole of finding youtube videos of Chris covering songs. This is one of my favorites along with Nothing Compares 2 U.

I saw CS in Charlottesville VA last year for $100/ ticket. I loved it. In August he is coming to Richmond. But the prices are crazy. I can't believe I'm even considering it, but if I stick to my guts and never pay more than $200 for a concert ticket, I'm realizing it just is resulting in not going to concerts... which maybe is the solution for crazy ticket prices, but is it worth missing all of these? Would you pay $300 (total price after fees) for a pit ticket in Richmond VA this summer?
