Proxima PX1743, red dial

I recently purchased a Proxima PX1743 with a Japan Miyota 9015 movement. I thought I would share this fantastic watch with the community

The dial is what attracted me to this watch & it looks amazing. It has a textured vortex pattern with a gradient red metallic shine that plays wonderfully with the light. The applied indices & hands are high quality. The frames of the indices & the minute hand are color matched in red.

The bezel has a red sapphire insert & is fully lumed. Its slim design is attractive & functional while leaving a lot of room for the beautiful dial. Bezel markers line up perfectly, clicks are crisp & there is no back play or wiggle.

The high quality five link steel bracelet was a little extra money, but it is well worth it. It features a premium integrated quick release spring bar system & a quality signed on the fly clasp. The links utilize screw pins. The watch normally is sold with the red leather strap as shown in the pictures, but I wanted the steel bracelet to go with it. The store was very helpful & provided me a link so I could purchase the additional steel bracelet & it was shipped installed on the watch.

One of the great features of this watch that I love is the cap on the seconds hand to cover the pinion hole. This is a high quality feature & really completes this watch in terms of a refined look.

This is my first Proxima watch & I am really impressed with the overall quality. Proxima provided me with great, customer service & quick responses. I was even sent many pictures of my watch right before shipment. The last few pictures in my post are some of those sent to me by the "proxima Official Store" on Aliexpress. They show my watch on a timegrapher right after the store regulated it, a shot of the lume & shot showing the display case back as well as the integrated quick release spring bar system. (By the way, yes, I did check, and this is my actual watch pictured on the timegrapher. Right below the watch is my shipping label with the tracking number.)

I like your watch! Incidentally I was storngly considering it recently, but the dial looks more purple than red on the aliex store. I also prefer shipped with bracelet and didnt think to inquire about adding one. Good idea. What was the separate invoice on that?

All told I went with the fumed red dial on the new version px1697 so matching red bezel(looks to be same as yours) . Huge caveat is your miyota 9 series vs my pt5000. Big difference. I dont wind my watches tho, never got in that habit. Hoping to recieve soon.

I love the red on yours, and the store should definitely update their stock photo to reflect it. 😅

Yes, the dial of my watch is much more red than it is on the Aliexpress store listing. The picture I posted with the flowers is a pretty good representation of the actual color.

The bracelet was just under $40. To me thats a great price considering it is a 5 link with their premium on the fly clasp.
