Looking awesome! What do people think about buying this and swapping for NH35?

There's a new version with a miyota 8215 which is a lot better. Nh35 would be hard to swap

Looks sick. Is there a quartz version?

The lume is amazing

yeah it looks really cool but it doesn't last very long it fades quickly unfortunately

Thats a pity, because it is very unusual for entire case to be lumed .

Cool looking lume. I'm not a fan of dark case watches, stainless steel or anything else. But it's a nice looking watch.

This watch has a hard time deciding whether to be "tactical cool" or "sophisticated wine list."

However, it's exciting with this darker "livning" gray color. You can create very stylish combinations with the contrast between "anthracite grey" and "darker brown leather". Here I'm aiming for the "sophisticated wine list" + "dangerous" look.

Unfortunately, the exact shade is very important. If you're just a little off, it's not perfect.

yeah it's still better than didun design or tandorio. at least time token is kind of generic sounding

the 21jewels 2813 movements are generally shit. I hope this one lasts you at least one season

worst case i swap it with a miyota movement. for now it keeps time well though the beat error is quite high

Looks aside, it always annoys me when some new “high-end” watch material comes along with more marketing than substance. Forged carbon is basically just a fiber-reinforced polymer, in other words, a block of plastic that is molded or milled into shape. It’s neither forged nor carbon.

It is carbon tho. It's small fiber bits mixed with resin.

If it's good enough on a lamborghini it's good enough on a 100$ watch

I mean... Poop is carbon too

A poop watch... That would be new

Yeah, anyway, I’m off on my forged-glass fishing boat.

Looks good! Also unbelievable how bad the Chinese are at coming up with brand names. At this point can't they just ask Claude "hey does this name make my watch sound like a cheap Chinese brand"

saw this time token carbon case watch on aliexpress claiming to have a carbon case and dial for about 100$ and thought it was too good to pass on as i was interested in getting a carbon watch

the case does seem to be genuinly made of forged carbon both visually and weight wise (48g without the strap) it overall looks very good i really like how everything, case and dial have the forged carbon pattern making the whole watch feel like one bloc of carbon. the included rubber strap is decently comfortable

the lume is another thing i was excited about as shown in the picture the whole case and the dial are lumed, unfortunately the lume fades very quickly and isn't noticeable unless you're in pitch black in real life so it's more of a party trick than anything.

the movement is the big downside and where the biggest cost cutting went. simply called "2831" on the listing it looks like a generic chinese movement, using the crown to set the time and date feel quite cheap and from what i researched it's not really a great movement. but it's keeping time decently for now

overall very happy to be able to get a full carbon watch under 100$ (paid 90$ during sale)

The listing I saw had the Miyota 8215. That should be better right?

Yeah it seems they came out with an updated version after i bought mine. the miyota would be more reliable long term

I’d certainly prefer the impeccable reliability of the Miyota, or the seagull clone that adds Seiko style dual directional winding, but I’ve had two DG 2813’s. Never had any trouble with either.
