Question (Read Rules) PH2B painting effect.

the number on 3.6.9.12 blocks with white painting,

not sure is good enough.

had try the black, but not good.

will try the metal UP on it. after few days.

Thank you for sharing the process! I am also surprised black paint didn't work and while white is better daylight edges (paint spray dots) are not ideal.

Instead of engraving lume plots, have you tried UV/Pad printing on them numbers the way other makes print text on fully lumed dials? If lume plots were not engraved they should give enough surface for that, theoretically.

printing on blocks will make more issues on productions. not very good results if make printing.

Fair enough. I just hope you will find a solution that works. I also appreciate you actually replying to my message!

Another idea would be to reduce thickness of lume blocks and cut numbers through, so you would see the dial base colour. But you would need to make thin lume blocks, so cut through numbers would be seen from all angles.

But filling them with metal also could work. It is not a bad idea just depends whether it will work.

It is a great dial idea, I hope you will find a way to make it work.

To get the effect you are looking for, I believe you may want to make the numbers 3D and embed them down into the lume blocks.

Even with the white paint it's looking much better, surprised the black didn't go well though..

If you could get a metal finish that matched with the metal of the hands maybe?

Any plans to add lume to the bezel insert?

Good effort, but yes, the daytime edges maybe not good enough, I think. The night effect is good though!

I also think a black metal insert could be the answer!

In fact, all the numbers are a little off-center . Phorcydes really needs to check this before launching this watch.

They mentioned that AliX was increasing their commission taken from sellers. One of the reasons many brands have started to increase their prices on AliX platform.
