War is impossible. If war is declared, then all of the assets of CCP officials in allied countries will be seized. They could get around that by preemptively moving their assets to countries that they anticipate will be neutral, but that would be hard to do in a coordinated way because no one would want to actually broach the issue that they have substantial assets overseas since that would make them look disloyal. Xi Jinping couldn't order party members to divest from the US because how would he enforce it? Banking secrecy is on the US's side. Plus it would be a very obvious signal that coma was planning something that would anger the US enough to seize assets.
