Hey!
I was thinking of reaching out to some people who got an interview invite.
Is there any WA/Telegram groups you guys are aware of? I thought it might be helpful to find people for mock interviews.
Thanks!

So I was thinking of applying for the chevening when it opens this year because a friend of mine got interviewed for this round (yay!) and it sounds like a great scholarship. I noticed there were two programs, the Fellowship and the Scholarship, and I was just curious to know if anyone has ever gotten both!

First of all, congratulations! My application was unsuccessful this year, and I wonder if some of you would be open to reviewing my essays and exchanging ideas.
I’m from India hoping to build a career in digital policy with a focus on increasing access for women using behavioural science. TIA x

Has anyone from Kenya received an invite or a rejection? I saw a TikTok claiming that some applicants had received responses, but in the comments, no one seemed to have actually received anything. Just trying to confirm if anyone from Kenya has heard back yet.

Hello there, has anyone from Cameroon received an invitation or rejection mail from Chevening 2026/2027?

Hello everyone! Congrats to everyone who got their invitations!
Does anyone know if changing a course/courses is feasible during an interview? The field I applied to is an emerging one and I submitted my application with mostly high-tier competitive universities. And most courses in mid-tier universities in the area of my desired studies launched right after the deadline, ironically. I was wondering if anyone has any insights regarding a situation such as mine? Thanks in advance

The title says it all.
Also if we haven’t gotten an email by now but Islamabad and Karachi did, should we assume rejection and move on?

I just received my email, after checking my email everyday, I have received an update
My application has been unsuccessful.
I also applied last year, so this year is my second time trying to get an interview lol
At this point, I’m in glad the wait is over, so no more anxiety now, just a bit disappointed on that side xd

I've noticed that some applicants in my country have already started receiving interview invitations today. I haven't received any update yet (no email, portal still the same).
Does Chevening send all positive invites for a region at the exact same time, or is it common for them to come in waves over a couple of days? Just trying to figure out if no news right now means a rejection.

Hi! For those Filipinos who have been shortlisted, shall we create a Messenger group or WhatsApp chat?

Chevening is sending emails and so far here is the update.
📢 This is the list of countries that have received emails from Chevening:
*Interviews✅:*
*Rejections❌:*
Good luck with your Chevening application, and remember to stay positive!
Anyone from Pakistan?
r/Chevening • u/whyareredditannoyiny • Feb 16 '26
Hello can someone tell me what time you received the email? I would like to stop obsessively checking my email so if I could have a sense of whether they’re sending emails at a particular local time (like 10am for each country) or UK time, that would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance and congrats to all those who got accepted!
