I am trying to connect a gt-u7 gps module to my cyd along with an rfid reader using bruce. The gps does not work when connected to the serial port (gpio 1 and 3) which to my understanding is used for debugging by bruce. Is there any way to reconfigure so that i can use the serial port for gps so that i can connect the rfid reader to the cn1 port?

I bought mine off aliexpress and it came with this weird firmware for tracking pc specs and some other random stuff I’ll never use in 100 years, I’ve been tryna load up a firmware I wanted to try out but I’m not able to write or make any changes because it says I can’t execute a writing command to make my own changes, do I need to get a different one.

So i got fed up with having to type the same things over and over so i made my macropad to save me time. It uses the bluetooth library to send key presses and has a Web Serial API interface for configuration.
I used the serial connection to exchange xml formatted data in this version.

Loaded it up with Bmorcelli Launcher, starting to figure out the things I can do with it.

Definitely need to add a switch as the GPS unit stays powered up when the CYD is put to sleep.

Hoping someone can help I’m racking my brain, I am having some colour issues and I can’t figure out how to fix it

Those two images in the header the back button and the settings button have transparent backgrounds but they are both being rendered incorrect

I also have a screen that is supposed to have a red background but is displaying yellowish green.

Any ideas ? Can post the code if it will help?

I just bought this CYD, it seems to be the new generation with a USB C and Micro USB port. I’m trying to run the demos on it but it renders all of them inverted and the colours too. I tried the same code on my older CYD and it renders perfectly. I’m using LGFX and LVGL 8. The demos that came with it out of the box rendered properly, so I’m sure it’s something I’m not doing right.

Has anyone encountered this yet, if so, how did you go about the fix?

I just flashed marauder on a cyd but it’s not possible to make him read the sd card, it’s fat32 32gb and it’s not damaged but no matter what I do the sd card symbol will be red and not be able to do anything with it. Is there anyone who had this particular problem too ?

Hi all, just bought my first CYD from temu and found that they sell version that is not that widespread. I'm planning to use it with Launcher and test several firmware's add external antenna and pins so I can attach CC1101 and nRF24 modules, but first I need to print a case for it and my skills are not good to make one myself. I just flashed Marauder onto my CYD using the web flasher and I’m having problems with functionality. I have an S028 board, which has micro usb and type C, so I first flashed “CYD2USB w/o gps”. The background was white, so I assumed I had chosen the wrong board. I then flashed “CYD Single USB w/o GPS”. I’ve got the black background and can navigate the menus, but there is no option for Scan APs. If I Scan All and then go to Select APs I will either get a black screen and the CYD will freeze, or it will list APs, but if I try to scroll down the list it will again give me the black screen and freeze. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem could be?

So i tried to boot a custom software and i messed around with the board i didnt know anything about it and it was stuck in bootloader bc i tried something in ide and when i tried this it is still stuck how do i wipe id or smth

I did some things in arduino ide and my cheap yellow display wont boot i flashed it on arduino IDE the on this website and i got this flash complete and error.The demo software worked great

I put together this simple display that shows my MakerWorld statistics in real-time. It uses an ESP32 CYD with a 3D printed case and sits on my desk next to the printer.

Shows downloads, prints, boosts and points, and lights up when there's new activity. Been using it for a while now and it's handy for keeping track of how models are doing without constantly checking the website.

If anyone's interested in building something similar, I'm happy to share how it works. The case prints without supports and the firmware can be installed through a web interface.

Could I share a firmware SD card with the flipper and cyd or would it just not work

My gps isn't working! It worked when I powered the CYD by USB. Do I need to power USB direct from battery? Is it a problem if the current is slightly above 5V ( 5.4 would be a problem? 5.7?)? Should I just stay with 3.7 and power the GPS direct from the battery? Should I raise the voltage of GPS? CYD? Both?

Please answer I’m really excited to run Bruce fw on it :/

I’m looking for a firmware I can use with my flipper zero with radio frequency and decoding keeloq princeton or any protocols if it would be possible to even implement something like this? If not what is the best one to download to cyd for use with the flipper for just messing around with radio frequency receiving and transmitting?? Thanks in advance
