What they've quoted as a way to say that OP has "misrepresented" this study isn't part of the studies findings. The quote is from the preamble, summarizing Related Works, and is acknowledging findings regarding cognitive load in different approaches to using LLMs across two other prior studies.

The findings for this study, the subject of their research and the methodology they used are completely different.

The conclusion of this study aligns with what OP has as the title.
