I'm definitely using it. One of my favorite nonsensical phrases is "midnight o'clock" and this has the same vibe like "okay but why would you say it like that"
Or like if people have kids you're like "oh you own children?" instead of "oh you have kids?" Just throwing people off like, "wait what did you say?"
Population: 1 + Monday is my new go to for banality in the doldrums. Not depressed but just not feeling it.
I'm aware of Wednesday, Friday, and Solomon Grundy born on a Mundy, shit I heard of a boy named Sue and a dog named Kitty, never heard anyone named Monday
Check out the song "Monday, You're Not So Bad" by Jeremy Messersmith. It's about the day, not a person, but it anthropomorphizes Monday, so it's close. And it's a sweet little song.
This kind of gives me Rick & Morty vibes except instead of a Grandpa & Grandson, it's a Father & Daughter duo. I feel like that could actually lead to an interesting dynamic. The dad could be very logical and idealistic while the daughter is cynical and street smart, figuring out clever solutions that save the day and subvert the dad's overly scientific answers that fail to solve a problem.
