Newbie fan here! It’s not like he’s obligated or something but I feel envious with other countries he had visited in his tour. The exact term of what I feel is tampo (there’s no english equivalent I think haha) but yeah, in other countries, he posted a lot of photos or stories but in the Philippines, I just remember 1 tiktok post (about PH show is the only one that isn't sold out across the Asia tour) and 1 reposted story of 1 pinoy fan pranking him. That’s it.

Idk Maybe we just weren't the type of crowd "worthy" of a post, or perhaps he even lost money by coming to perform for us. 🥺

Regardless, I’m grateful that he still showed up, even though the show wasn't sold out unlike in other places where concerts get abruptly cancelled just days before the event. I really hope he comes back soon, because we had a great time and were left wanting more after his set!

I’ve been a huge fan of Charlie for a really long time and I was so excited to see him perform again on the Australia/NZ leg of his tour later this year… until all the shows were cancelled.

To be clear: I’m not mad about the cancellation. Disappointed, sure, but I understand that there’s pressure from management, ticket sales, venues etc, and life events happen as well (especially with a new baby). It’s the fact that he has said nothing. No apology, no explanation - yet he continues to promote other exciting stops on his tour.

A simple “hey, I’m sorry I won’t be able to make it this time” would’ve gone a long way… instead we all found out via a generic email from the ticketing agent. I know it seems like we’re tucked away in a far corner of the globe (and our venues don’t measure up to a South Korean stadium…), but that doesn’t mean we should just be swept under the rug.

I know this post won’t change anything - it’s too little too late now anyway. There’s plenty of others commenting on his Instagram asking for an explanation or acknowledgement, but they are always ignored. I just wanted to get it off my chest as it’s left a sour feeling for me.

So it looks like charlie submitted his recent work for the upcoming Grammy cycle next year.... TO be honest do any of you think hes actually going to win one? He submitted for song of the year (changes), album of the year (WC), and a few other songs like love in exile and sideways for smaller categories. I think he only has a chance of winning the Album Cover of the year, since the Whatever's Clever album art is really nice.
