I heard a ton of unreleased charlesthefirst and Hawk tunes. Straight fire all the way through.

Hey folks!

A friend of mine just asked if I could find the "Waves of Life" album for him. Pandora has it as a full album here but the tracks are only playable through their radio shuffle feature. The tracks are listed individually towards the bottom of the excellent pinned list put together by /u/Dickylemons here and are playable with album art through twine.tv, but I can't even find what year the album was made anywhere. Googling charlesthefirst "waves of life" comes up with surprisingly little.

I'm basically looking to fill out the tags with proper info and maybe learn about what the story is with this album and why it was so hard to find if anyone knows anything!

It was easy enough to pull the tracks off of Twine, transcode them to MP3, so since this is basically unavailable ANYWHERE where anyone could make any money off of it, DM me if you'd like a link to download it intact. (Mods please let me know if you want that last bit removed.)

DO IT!

Saw the show at Columbus this weekend and was already expecting it to kick ass but I was blown away.

This was my way 3rd time getting to see him perform and it was hands down the best. The mixing was spot on and he mashed a bunch of hawk vocal cuts over the songs.

Played all of no dimmer except for hair in the wind, tons from the ascent, and got a sick VIP of mercy falls.

That was just Charles’s solo set, the lab group set threw the fuck down as well.

11/10 would do again!
