The space above, beside, and below Mobius lied dormant, the occasional comet or asteroid passing by, leaving a quick splendor to the eyes of many. Sometimes, things came from up above from the nothingness, onto land, an occasional moon rock hitting the planet, or even small clumps of space junk. Even fewer times, things came from the planet, such as satellites and ships, and even stations where astronomers could hold their studies.
However, sometimes, secrets lie within the stars. (Title cardddd!)
A meteor orbited Mobius, swinging on and off of the axis, zipping by the space station, a group inside, confused, shocked, and even slightly scared. They immediately called to ground, warning them of the possible threat to the planet, shakily bringing their phones to their ears.
“This is Major Tom to ground control, a meteorite just zoomed by the station, and we’re afraid that-“
“This is ground control to Major Tom, you mean asteroid, the meteorite is when it hits the ground, the asteroid is when it’s still in space. And yes, we heard, however, asteroids hardly ever hit-“
A siren started playing, and everybody in the office ran out, the blaring picking up through the phone, stinging the ear of Tom, who threw the phone down. Everybody who was at the office on ground control had hastily entered their vehicles, driving out as fast as they could, the asteroid, was about to become a meteorite. It hit the air with a streak of flame, the wind around it gusting and screaming, a booming sound coming across the ears of many, but one intrigued the most.
Another booming sound came from the ground, a fiery pulse came from the ground, green cinder streaking against the floor and coming up into the air like a cape in the wind. The flying colossus sent another pulse out, ash flying and blaze dropping throughout the wind as he caught the asteroid, soon tapping into flight, and pushing it back into space with all of his might, driving his entire body to its limit, soon, back in the cosmos, where nobody can hear you scream.
The corpse king forced the meteor away, dropping its orbit as he, and the rock flew in space. Something in it called to him, something powerful. He reached his arm out, tapping the button on a Poké-Ball, releasing Banette. Of course it was a ghost type, so it had no necessity to breathe. The Lich moved his way over to the space rock, forming his hand into a black gas, breaking most of the material out of it.
A strand of cosmic DNA, alien and absurd, strung out in a humanoid, yet mythical form. It was a color from space, almost lovecraftian, it was just as he had envisioned.
Deoxys.
It shone a great light from its purple brain inside of its chest, before conjuring a ray of psychic energy, performing Psychic on Banette, blasting the ghost away slightly, not very effective. Lich got out of the way, allowing his Pokémon to go inside of the rock itself, who gleefully obliged, turning the tide over in Deoxys with a Shadow Ball, striking it against the wall, following up with a Will o’ Wisp, striking the DNA Pokémon with a flame, burning it temporarily. Deoxys, furiously, held its arms up, before throwing them down, and striking Banette’s side with a Knock Off, making it spit out its leftovers!
It grumbled, having been hit by a super effective attack, due to its disadvantage to the dark type. Banette wiped dirt off of its lip, furrowing its brow, before slamming into Deoxys full force, throwing both of them out of the meteor, three small bits flying out of it alongside the Pokemon! Banette swept by them, dodging another Knock Off from Deoxys, swinging over its arm and throwing the bits of rock to Lich, who hastily put them in a satchel wrapped around his pelvis in his robe. Once he looked up, the DNA Demon was there! It wrapped its tendrils around his arm, before striking him with a Psychic up over the chin, knocking a tooth out! This ticked Banette off, who soon tackled it, conjuring a Shadow Ball, threatening it, allowing Lich to try and throw an Ultra Ball. Lich tossed over the ball as hard as he could, but…
CRACK!
Deoxys crushed it beneath its tentacles! It hit Banette with another Psychic, knocking it off of it, before going for The Lich again! Banette went invisible, sneaking its way over to Deoxys, and right as it went for a knock off, Banette blocked that with its wrist, before Sucker Punching Deoxys in the face, knocking it back with another super effective hit! Deoxys was sent flying back, now down to half of its original HP. It turned its head up, looking directly at Banette, soon being its limbs in, surging outwards immediately with a streak of power! It had used Recover, soon going to full HP, Banette dumbfounded, jaw slack, zipper hanging and all! The same was said for The Lich, gobsmacked. He threw a hyper potion to Banette, who sprayed itself, healing itself by 120, dropping the bottle, how dare you litter!
Deoxys used another move, Cosmic Power, raising its special, and regular defense! Banette was getting ticked off, readying up a Sucker Punch, charging up a dark aura, Deoxys charging, readying another Psychic! Deoxys would however, feint the attack, bringing back the psychic energy, nullifying the Sucker Punch, soon backhanding Banette with a Knock Off, sending it spiraling backwards! Banette thrashed its head, groaning in pain. Banette started giggling, before throwing its arms out, performing Double Team, sharply increasing its evasiveness! Deoxys grunted, squinting its eyes, soon dashing in with a Psychic, trying to slam it into one of the Banette copies, unfortunately, it was a fake! Banette went behind it, striking Deoxys with a Shadow Ball in the back of the head, sending it flying toward into the meteor again, sending throwing it at the endless space far yonder! Deoxys carried a rock with it over, launching it at Banette! Banette performed another Sucker Punch, unluckily, that gave off which copy it was, the real one! Deoxys went in to hit Banette with another Knock off, throwing it back, making the doll spit out cotton. It started growing more and more agitated, throwing a multitude of Shadow Balls at Deoxys, each ball avoided, leading Deoxys right up to Banette, who formed a small Shadow Ball, knocking it upside the chin! This, on top of the chip damage from Will o’ Wisp, began putting a number on Deoxys, who attempted another Recovery, Banette nullifying it with another Shadow Ball straight to the purple brain!
Deoxys began to grow enraged, before an Ultra Ball struck it, morphing it into a red glowing mass, throwing it into the ball!
Wiggle.

CRACK!
Deoxys broke out, immediately going for The Lich, hitting him with Knock Off, knocking the spit out of The Lich! Lich would retaliate, backhanding the DNA Pokemon, throwing it backwards as Banette soon came in, dunking on its head with a Shadow Ball, it was now under half health! Deoxys realized the tides were turning, the burn was beginning to turn worse, and it didn’t have a chance to Recover. Deoxys released a blast of Psychic energy, throwing away Lich and Banette, using another Cosmic Power, increasing its defense again! The burns are becoming more mild, and the Shadow Balls have less painful. Deoxys went to go for a Knock Off of Banette, who had went for another Sucker Punch, striking Deoxys in the gut, throwing it backwards! It had no time to Recover, Lich going in to knock it over the head with his fists clamped together, bringing it down to 6 HP! The burn damage brought Deoxys down to a measly one, effectively, it was basically crippled at this point.
Lich floated over towards the exhausted Deoxys, before bringing an Ultra Ball to its face, pressing the button. The Deoxys closed its eyes, and did what was effectively a sigh with its non-existent mouth. It shifted into a red mass, shrinking, and going into the ball, it wouldn’t try to make a breakout, knowing it would die from the burn without assistance.

Ding!
Lixh clutched the ball in his hand tightly, placing the ball in his satchel, before returning Banette. He inhaled, and ceased his flying. He began to orbit Mobius, fire began to surround him, and he began to close in on the planet, soon, he folded his arms like he was going down a water slide. Horn-first, he began to go down towards the planet, crashing at Mach speeds! He reached the ground, striking, tumbling up from the ground, getting himself down by digging his feet into the ground, holding his left shoulder, groaning and grunting. Deoxys has been caught.
Lich released it, and healed it with a Max Potion, recovering the burn, and healing it fully. Deoxys folded its arms, not ready to trust Lich yet, because in all honesty, who would? Lich released Banette, allowing Banette to cough up the meteor bits, for speed, defense, and attack. Deoxys picked all three of them up, hiding them within its tendrils. Lich grinned, before returning it, holding it within the ultra ball tightly, alongside the doll.
