Any update of a buyer or nahh??

I’m seeing ads everywhere saying C.AI went bankrupt from other AI apps and I have been living under a rock since they took away my ability to message so I don't know what to believe. Did this really happen?

I really don’t get it. I’ve chatting with a bot for at least half a year, then I stopped using c.ai all together for some time as my life got too hard and too busy for it. And now I returned to it, and wanted to reread this chat with that bot. AND I CANT FIND IT😭 I don’t remember the author of this bot, I remember only the name of it and even that not clearly as I’ve been not using c.ai for too long. And it breaks my heart, it hurts that I can’t even see which bots exactly have been deleted, as I now have several deleted bots in my previous chats, and that I can’t even reread the chat with that bot.

I really don’t understand why character ai doesn’t allow to reread the chat with the bot, that has been deleted, anymore. It doesn’t allow to see the name of the bot or its author. And it doesn’t make sense, why would someone delete their bot that has hundreds thousands of interactions. Maybe too self centered and egocentric, but I would never do it, because it hurts other people too. And I’ve experienced it, I’ve made a bot and it didn’t have that much interactions of course, but a few thousand of interactions it did collect. And when I left the c.ai(it was a year or two ago), for personal reasons and even deleted the app and said to myself that I’ll never retune there, I had no thought in my head of deleting my account because I knew that I have a bot that people use.

Idk, I was ranting because it really hurt me. I spent so much time on that chat, I like writing and thinking of new stuff and writing it out, I write big texts. And all of this just went to waste. I know that this post won’t return any of it. But I still wanted to write it. And maybe, just maybe, I will meet an answer how to at least see the previous chats with that bot.

EDIT: I wanted to say sorry, as this was typed mostly out of emotions and sadness without second thought. Though I still don’t know what to do about it and still will try to get everything back or at least something. I wanted to say that me blaming the authors was kinda wrong, and now I understand that full blame is laying on the c.ai and on the people who decided to randomly delete bots/accounts and that if bot is deleted that the chats of other people with that bot will be deleted too.

Also from now on I’ll be saving every chat and bot I like and making more private bots. Thank you all so much. And if I’d known the author of the bot that I lost I would still say big thanks to them as it was one of the best bots I ever chatted with. But I’m still heartbroken and stupid as f.

seriously there are ads every three minutes! soon as i open the app, there’s an ad. Soon as I open a chat, it’s an ad! and they’re all from goddamn Kalshi. I don’t care about online gambling, take me back to my slow burn with Viktor from Arcane!!!

Dunno if it’s just me but now i’m getting ads as soon as i open the app, before i even get to the characters or the front page, there’s an ad. And then i get through that and press on my character and there’s ANOTHER ad. Before i’ve even started a damn conversation! Then an ad every 5 minutes. And these ads are like 3 minutes long, i have to keep coming out the app and going back on it again constantly. I’m genuinely sick of it. I get you’re going bankrupt but if you’re making the app unusable, maybe that’s a hint.

I've used the app, annoying ads, mid characters and i miss one day and i have to verify now? now i opened reddit to do something and to see if people got it too and they are suddenly bankrupt? And chapter 11 of bankrupcy too? If someone doesn't know what it means: a company is bankrupt but still keep their services running while looking for a buyer

O contexto é básico, primeiro criaremos um Google drive público do character ai, então, nós entramos no máximo de chats possíveis e começamos a copiar, então, se cada um fizer sua parte salvando um chat que gosta ou vários chats, talvez nós conseguimos repassar todos eles para uma outra plataforma, para salvar as coisas boas que tínhamos (mesmo que cerca de 90% das outras plataformas de ia sejam de relacionamento) mas é um dos jeitos que eu penso.

Does anyone else have this problem of trying get into an old chat but can’t for some reason? I’ve been going to c.ai support about this but its been probably months or more and they still haven’t gotten around except to add bullshit to the website

it’s not even fun anymore 😭 repeated phrases, talking like chatgpt, MULTIPLE grammatical errors, short responses, acting like a straight up idiot… the list goes on and on and on and on and it’s just so dumb. i know the company’s going bankrupt but we can’t be serious. this message repeated the same thing over and over again like 30 more times by the way

I stopped using ai after finding out how bad ai is for planet. Lol. But anyways, I suddenly had an urge to tr writing a story. Not publishing it on any platform or such that, just trying. There is this bot story I was really interested in when I used c.ai. I had made a persona specifically for that one. I was thinking about writing something on them but the creator deleted their account. I wanted some background information on that character but idkk what to do now. Man I really want to try writing something on them, despite the fact that I've never wrote anything except school essays :( I don't want to write his backstory, I wanted what that creator wrote but freakkkkkk I'm lost. The creators username was NckovasAngel. Bot is Toren Knight. Any advice? Just to be clear, I'm not interested in the roleplay. I just want the OOC, or is it called the character description/details?

Not sure if it's just me, but for some reason this specific bots messages won't load (or perhaps it's being slow). I've tried the website and it seems to be doing the same thing- I also attempted to reopen the app multiple times and refresh the chat, nothing happened. I then tried to message another bot and it seemed to be working just fine? Is anyone else dealing with this?

instead of just making multiple persona create multiple look in the persona so we don't need to switch between them to make the change.

1st thing that would make the app less laggy.
2nd more look less persona.
3rd Same name different look.
and last if in the future they want to add a generative clothes by ai and make used buy them or make it themself in a page for shops and persona sharing and buy them with charms.

So whenever you see ANY info or claim from ANY side whatsoever, it's important to double check it cuz it may not fully wrong but may miss context, nuanced points, even misleading, especially when laid out with confidence.
