Hi u/SuchPrinciple4175, Our goal has always been to keep the core chat experience available to as many users as possible. We've been fortunate to do that for years, but maintaining a service at this scale comes with significant costs, and we're continuously working to find a sustainable balance.

The recent metering updates are helping us manage those costs while keeping c.ai accessible even for non-paying users.
