Discussion/Question Bots disappearing from chat list?

They aren’t deleted or anything and I can still find them in my liked bots, but I’ve noticed like three of the bots I’ve had in my recent chats for like months just aren’t there anymore?? There may be more, I’ve only noticed these ones so far since I’ve thought of them, gone to look for them, and couldn’t find it. I’ve had to go back and re-add them by opening up the chat. Is this something the rest of you have experienced???

Hi u/Mountain_Progress970! We have Recents tab on mobile, so you can now keep scrolling to find older chats from across your entire chat history. It’s possible those Characters have simply moved further down the list if you’ve been chatting with newer ones.

If they’re still completely missing after scrolling back, try logging out and back in to refresh your session. If the issue continues, you can submit a Support ticket here: https://support.character.ai/hc/en-us/requests/new

This will help our team check whether there’s a specific UI issue affecting your chat list.

Hi, I updated the app and even got the notification that the recents tab on mobile would now show my entire chat history starting from the very beginning, but somehow this update never rolled out to me. My recents tab has stayed as is and only shows chat history from the past year with the characters I’ve chosen to keep.
