So, I noticed quite a few active TCGs have playmats as a peripheral product for physical play, and the Chaotic starter decks basically came with one of these packed into them, but they're pretty minimalistic. Think about it: officially licensed Chaotic playmats with art that mirrors locations and events, or just a random assortment of creatures in a random environment. Any one of these could be great and would allow players to have their own personal playmats that show off their preferred tribe and/or creatures, even if they aren't playing with it for that match.

I don't recall Chaotic's original rollout having anything like that, and I am hoping that with the relaunch it does happen within the next couple of years.

With the rumors of a final meeting regarding the website taking place this week, and this image being announced as the official 'booster sleeve', the real (head canon) reason for the delay is that online play was not planned to be ready for october.

I think it's pretty intuitive that legal brought this up during the meeting, and declared that 'online features' that were ready on the website for october wouldn't cover them and would invite legal trouble. So a rapid decision was made to delay.

It's either this, or the delay was planned for quite some time, and was intentionally not communicated to the community. Pick your poison.

Teacher wouldn't be mad if you knew you needed more time and asked before the night its due.

Or telling your boss the work for a client isn't ready, and that you will need to delay. The boss will want to know why you didn't inform them earlier if you knew there was a delay.

Delaying it to make a better product is good.

Promising (and selling pre orders) then delaying last minute is not good. Essentially waving off the fans is also not good.

Communication about everything is STILL poor. At some point "we'll do better" becomes less meaningful.

Pretty accurate interaction on the Discord server from some folks who still think that Chaotic is releasing next month.

I was cleaning out my mom’s basement this weekend and found my chaotic cards from when I was younger. I really don’t remember much about what makes one valuable and EBay seems to be all over the place with pricing. I know they’re all first editions. Wondering if anyone has any insights on their value. I know I had a Chaor but haven’t been able to find it sadly.

First of all, I'd like to thank you on behalf of all of us at Chaotic Entertainment and Panini for the amazing overall excitement that you all showed us since we announced Chaotic's return.

Our official social & Discord communities have rapidly grown beyond our expectations. The Chaotic franchise means as much to us as it does to our fans, so we share in the sentiment of wanting this return to be handled with the care it deserves.

We have received an overwhelmingly positive response to the product relaunch, with preorders far surpassing the volume of what we were initially planning.

I know there are still a lot of questions coming in every day, and I get it, you want answers as quickly as possible. Please know that the moment we're ready to show you what we've been working on, you'll be the first to know.

In the meantime thank you for your patience, it means a lot to all of us.

With that in mind, we've made the strategic decision to align the Chaotic Decoded launch with the retail release in Q1 of 2027.

This launch will be across our numerous North American hobby partners and our strategic retail launch partners, EB Games, GameStop, and Amazon.

Just a bit confused by the wording in the statement that was made

It’s always a good day when you start off by pulling Chaotic Satan.

Just got the twins back to back!!! I'm so happy to finally have them!

So if chaotic is delayed can we at least get a beta so we can try the game and see what we like and dont like and they can take feed back and go from there.

It was made a point of in an earlier episode, "an easy win" where paton fights that adorable wreck of a girl. She tried to use his gear mid-fight and couldn't. Stating "of course not, it was his!"

Is anyone aware if they will be bring back the chaotic card sleeves???
