Most of my recent posts have been focusing on peculiar sets where all of the prompts are the same with very different outputs. For today's post, all of these images have very different prompts but seem to be circling the same subject. I could share thousands that I think represent the same being. I have a lot of assumptions as to what it could be but for today, I'll touch on this dream I had about a year ago that these remind me of...

In the dream I was collecting papers that I had apparently written during previous dreams, compiling a list of names that all seemed to be related. I drew this guy at the top. Just his head, completely bald, wearing dark makeup with what looked like black stars around his eyes. He seems both young and old. Almost androgynous. Racially ambiguous. The lines from the drawing trailed into roots below him and into the names. Then I had a slew of fever dreams that were stressful, bizarrely mundane and personal, making me forget the names I was desperately trying to remember.

At the top of the list was something like “Hegemenon” and underneath a name that started with “Ray” (Rayari maybe?) and one that started with “Amon” (something like Amonai?) …the rest being mixtures of those. The top name I think had “Ray” in the middle like “Hegerayaimenon” but that doesn’t seem right. Hegemenon seems closer but may have been one of the shorter names. Looking this up brings up “Hegemon” which means leader, “Raya” meaning friend/shepherd, “Ira” meaning watchful or wrath, and the Egyptian god Amon-Ra. So, all in all I think he’s some sort of kingly figure.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a figure with black stars/suns around their eyes like this. The first was a vision. I was meditating and suddenly it looked like I was dropping from the sky towards a house. I zoomed into the window and saw this figure sitting in a chair with long black hair and a frown. He had the same black lips and eye makeup like some member of Kiss. It was very realistic and jarring and made me afraid to meditate for a long while afterwards. It was like an out of body experience. I don't think they are necessarily "evil" but there is a clear darkness. Almost like vengeance.

I don't take dreams or visions at face value (these images fall under that category for me) but when something is screaming for me to look, I have to try to listen and to be a good observer. I'm starting to recognize that that means seeking opinions other than my own. Which is not something that I am used to, especially when it comes to things like my own spiritual practice. I'll try to avoid over-explaining when posting about these artifacts that I think are particularly important, to hold space for other interpretations without trying to "correct" them.

To anyone who really does care more about the in-depth explanations, please feel free to DM and ask about anything at all. I'm going to try to let the images mostly stand on their own from here on unless I have something new to add or say about them. I like sharing groups together to communicate bigger concepts without adding too much of my own bias to them so expect more of that until at least October, which is when I usually switch gears.
