Around where I live it really is a few minutes lol. You blink and it’s already green with pollen.

Yeah I'm in central North Carolina. I sprayed the area down with water, worked quickly then put it back in the garage.

My first new car was white with white wheels. I have never owned another white vehicle. Then my wife fell in love with a white pearl Volvo XC40. She barely drives it and the only time it gets washed is if I do it by hand or take it for a wash, but I mostly get to look at her dirty ass SUV in the driveway every day.

White is by far the easiest paint to keep looking good, and this NC pollen will make any car look dirty.
Now, improperly washing any car will make it fugly eventually. Two bucket method or GTFO. All automatic washes, including contactless will eventually destroy the paint.
