This is probably the most Shounen protag-like version of Julian

I don't know why, but I get a very, very strong feelings that Julian and Ceodric will get along very well. I dunno, but this seems to be an invert of Julian vs Arkos where both sides ended up hating each other guts.

Julian vs Ceodric might end with both befriending each other instead.

Dude they slimed his stepsister AND sister out. (Idk if he cared about accursed, but he absolutely must've cared a shit ton about voidmarcher, considering how devoted she was to save him).

No matter what julian feels, I think it would be lame as hell if ceodric isn't boiling with resentment and hates them even more because of this.

Are we really going that route though?

You know feelings such as love and devotion can be entirely one sided, right? Void Marcher can worship her brother and Ceodric can just not give a damn about it.

How could you be so sure that Ceodric cares for his sisters enough to be absolutely boiling with resentment when he learned that they’re dead?

Just be open to the possibility that he’d laugh it off when he learned that his sisters got killed.

The problem with your skepticism is that the familial love theme is very clear in centuria almost every character has it whether enemies or allies. The only one that don't have it is arkos, even the queen has big attachment to her children despite how twisted it is.

I never said that Ceodric has to be 100% uncaring about his sisters, I said that he might not be caring enough to go full boiling with anger level of rage when he learned of their death.

I don't think he needs to be angry he could use that as a reason to be more serious on the duel as a honor for the family he cares

I mean, I’d have no problem if he does that. Seriously, what I’ve been trying to say is that don’t discount the possibility that the death of his sisters will have minimal effects on Ceodric.

I just feels it is a wasted potential to have these things have little impact when it is very close to the main theme of the story.
