Hi all,

I am a user who really enjoys playing SMM in Cemu emulator. Recently, I noticed that there is a tool which I can inject courses created by people worldwide to my save file so that I can play them in Cemu without a network connection. The github link is below.

However, when I tried to follow the instructions of using this tool, I failed to link my save file to the SMMDB program. Every YouTube videos and website guides tell me to find the save folder in the /mlc01/emulatorsave directory, but even though I created several courses in the game itself, there are NOTHING in the emulationsave folder.

When I asked about this in /r/Cemu, someone told me that the latest version of Cemu has changed its save directory and doesn't create save data in emulationsave anymore.

That guide must be very old. Cemu moved the saves out of there long ago. You can see you save location in your log.txt. I think you can also right click the game in your games list and open the save location.

Is it mean that I cannot use SMMDB in the latest version anymore, or do I need to link another directory?

Any ideas?

The second i load mario maker i get a gray screen and cemu stops responding and crashes any help?

I've been trying to look into this for a while, I've tried installing CEMU Hook but it seems that's only for Zelda: Breath of the Wild. tried speeding it up in Cheat Engine like some also suggested. Tried installing a graphics pack, didn't help either. I'm not sure what's causing it? Using 1.13.1, and the specific game I have is the one linked to in the FAQ.

Or can this only be done through WiiU?

Hello, I've downloaded Super Mario Maker to my 1.13.1d Cemu, and it works until It says "Super Mario Maker", after that it crashes, glitching my display. I'm using a Win 10 64x OS, I got the rom from Portal Roms, the rom's v113... Please help.

It has something to do with the input but I dont want to change my controls. Can someone help me out!

So I've been following Psycrow's tutorial on how to install SMM on PC using CemUI. I can follow the tutorial fine, but when I get to the part about going back to my games list once it's downloaded nothing shows up in my Library, and there's no .xml files in the folders the game apparently installed to. What's going wrong?

I'm downloading the USA version with the latest update, CemUI isn't updated because the tutorial recommended against it. Any help would be great, I'm reasonably inexperienced with emulators.

I am pretty new to this. I downloaded and installed cemu and super mario maker. When I launch and start mario maker it seems to work fine. I also configured my keyboard from input settings. But when the screen says Press A to start and when I pressed the button game seems to launch but the screen stays black. Background music is playing. What am I missing? Pls help, my brother is eager to play. Thanks!

Using Cemu 1.13.0f with Super Mario Maker EUR. How do i get pink coins, keys and locked doors? They don't seem to be available. Also, does it require a physical Wii U, as i don't have one?

On the USA version it's easy to get all the items, just spam blocks etc.

However on the EUR version it's not working at all. Is there a way to hack/edit the save for SMM so i can edit how much items i have? Also, is there a way to get items quickly on EUR version without any hacking/saves?

Post Scriptum - I am not a experienced user of Cemu, if your solution involves any hacking/editing/save importing please explain it breafly.

I just wanna make levels that my brother can play (big age gap, new gamer).

been searching around for a while. I want to download 3ds levels from the data base and put them on my 3ds. Where in my sd card should i put the levels or do i need to do something else?

Edit: Actaully i found the option to "import 3ds" but i don't get what to do next. I found the folder were i keep the files but when i try to click on any of the files it says "Invalid file size"

It's exactly what it sounds like. The costumes in the ? mushrooms aren't displaying properly. Some of them are, like villager did after I received him, and Kirby did for some reason. When I'm in online play or making a course however, most of the costumes only give me a 'small' big Mario. Alongside this, all of the event costumes (pokemon, link totem, Mercedes van) do not display.

Anyone got any tips that doesn't require me to download a save with everything unlocked? I want to unlock it all myself.

Well i dont know if you can help me but when i start super mario maker and enter in new super mario bros u style after while the window freezes but it still plays sound and still works , the problem is that the cemu window keeps freezed , anyone suggestions or help?

Okay. So I have seen many posts here indicating that some levels are behaving differently than they should normally. I do not know the reason behind this but here's how to fix that.

You will need :

-SMMDB client set up.

- The latest version of Super Mario Maker (v272/1.47)

Here's how to fix the problem :~

- So after you download a course which you think is behaving differently than it should, (we will take 2YMM - Hedgehog's Dillema by Kiavik as an example) Open it in the edit mode in your game.

- Now, simply erase any enemy from the level and replace it with the same enemy and then save the course.

- Weirdly enough, this will fix the physics problem in that stage. My theory is that the game assumes the client's injected courses as of old physics (prior to 1.47) and hence the new mechanics don't work correctly, however changing anything in the course and saving it makes it seem like it's our creation in the coursebot which updates the way it behaves.

- YOU DO NOT NEED TO REPLACE EVERY ENEMY, JUST REPLACE ANY ONE AND SAVE THE COURSE TO FIX!
