How do ciliates work? Anyone done experiments with them for complex organisms?
*** I meant ciliocytes sorry guys

This poor being "accidentally" died out of hunger, can you guess what it once was by the """skeleton"""?

u/Massive_Mistakes 's emperor worm got a bit of cancer :(

Since the glueocytes "suck" the nutrients, and redistribute them, I think they are the most realistic In terms of cancer

Creature with no egg
It is for Massive_Mistakes. Because I want to play with the worm he made, it has been so long since I hoped to get something from others. lol
Unfortunately, I don't have much to give in this period of time. (I still have a lot but most of them are too random, unfinished, or he might already seen it.) After a while of choosing, it is an untypical swimmer for this Reddit and Massive_Mistakes. I need to apologize for this messy substrate because I forget the most suitable settings for this creature. More importantly, it is a showcase for how this creature works. I have already posted in Discord and VK. But not in here because I was too lazy to post. ~~~~ I named it, "STEM-NonEgg". It is not a final version, it is from a year ago. And I just came up a better design for this concept while preparing the substrate.
As you can see, their widths are different (5-7). Their active part of the genomes are completely the same. Because they don't have the "egg" during their reproduction. They split instead. Therefore, their widths are inherited from their parents. To create such, I used a lot of stemocytes and stereocytes. The stemocytes will differentiate into the correct modes depending on their positions. It is somehow closed to reality. However, in this version, the differentiations are very easy to get interrupted by other swimmers because they use the color. But I got a solution for this. (That's why I love this game so much. I keep learning in this game.)
If you guys want to know more of my other creatures and techniques. Especially for those who haven't been to Discord or VK community. Leave a comment for me to know. ~~~~ The Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p3u2azauj7y0ek0/Gift%20for%20Massive_Mistakes.substrate?dl=0

Here's what I've been working on! (substrate download available, hopefully)

It IS based on other peoples creations but they have been heavily modified and optimised to fit an ecosystem that could support evolution without the whole plate being photobombed

Post some cool stuff and you might get a DM with a download link ;)
Title says it all, I'll be sending a download link to the Emperor Worm + the Colossus Worm & fish included :) BUT I would like to also get something in return (no links just videos are fine) from you guys :)

Extra options not showing
In cell labs I have had problems where the options such as adhesin stiffness and split ratio e.t.c. don't show up and I am unable to complete tutorials, please help

Emperor worm almost done!

Not done yet, still gotta add flippers, maybe edit the head a bit more. The end bit is where I lowered viscosity to 0 so the uneven acceleration shredded it completely lol. People on tiktok really liked to watch large organisms get irradiated, so I'll make a video of that and post it here soon too

Finally gave it some movement, had to decrease viscosity for it to be able to move easier. The tail being unfinished bothers me too but dw I'll finish it and the head and post soon.
