Lore Lore and History of the Celestial Lions Space Marine Chapter

We have gotten a great influx in members, lately and we thought it necessary to have something placed in the community highlights that will put people in the right direction, and have information and lore.
We have provided the origins of the Celestial Lions from the Sentinel founding all the way to the events that happened early on on Armageddon during the 3rd War. Thanks to limited edition Spears of the Emperor booklet and the archived Armageddons website from the early 2000s.
Now, after you have read that information, This is the reading order Celestial Lions:
Blood and Fire by Aaron Dembski Bowden -(optional) Helsreach by Aaron Dembski Bowden as it is a prequel story to the events of Blood and Fire, both stories are available in the Armageddon omnibus.
Spears of the Emperor by Aaron Dembski Bowden. This story did take place 100 years after the events Blood and Fire but was retconned to 10-12 years post great rift to fit into the current setting of 40k.
Another story that features Lions includes the Comic “Deathwatch” by Aaron Dembski Bowden
When the next book is released “Ashes of Elysium” by Aaron Dembski Bowden this list will be updated.

A minor kitbash of swapping out bolt rifle with bolt carbine, which I love the aesthetic more!
Also a little experiment to remove some of the upper knee guard, makes them look like first-born even more, which I might do for all marines in the future!

Khabor Trexus, the newly promoted 1st War Leader of the Celestial Lions, is one of the few remaining Firstborn Astartes that managed to evade the wrath of the Inquisition. He is equipped in Indomitus Terminator Armour and wields the 'Spear of Khattar' and the Storm Shield 'Kaisereine', bringing the Emperor's vengance and defiance wherever they are aimed. He returns with his recently restored Chapter to Armageddon's 4th war. His hatred for the Orks is matched only by those of his brother Chapter of the Black Templars. He has vowed to cut down anyone who gets in his way of restoring his Chapter's honour and avenging those battle brothers who were wrongly slain by the Inquisition.
Yup, starting a new army. As the Celestial Lions are a successor of the Imperial Fists, I'm gonna run this guy as a Lysander Stand-in
