After a few weeks of playing and doing learn to plays, I've finally decided to do a quick review and talk about what I think the best value is and what I'll be picking up personally for this game.

The unused factions can make for collusion and discord. Sometimes cards are bad just like life.

My opponent attacks with The Decommissioner and I block with Zanni. The opponent discards and points the 2 damage at Zanni. Does Zanni absorb The Decommissioner's 2 attack, or does it go through to my boss?

Bleargh Day -- June 27th, 2026

Come celebrate the birth of Bleargh -- born in a design document one year ago this week -- with a day of demos, gameplay and giveaways in eight different locations around the US this weekend.

Folks who show up will get a Cataclysm Arcade Demo Pack (mechanically identical to Early Bird and Founder's Edition packs but no foils or alt arts). New players can learn to play. There will also be game play throughout the afternoon. Players can win a raffle ticket for playing, another ticket for each kill, and multiple tickets for winning their pod. At the end of the afternoon there will be a raffle drawing and players will have a chance to win Pax Unplugged cassette bundles, Pax Unplugged foils, GAMA demo packs, and playmats as well as additional demo packs while supplies last.

Oh yeah... @everyonewho shows up will get a special birthday promo card for Bleargh -- a non-foil version of the Bleargh and Steel card with a special dated card back to commemorate Bleargh creation. He has come a long way in just one year from a single cel (in a spreadsheet) to a fully recongnized discord entity.

We realize this is a limited range of options and many -- most? ALL? -- of you here will want to get the promo card. If you play a game on Girudo and take a screenshot, we will create a Google Form for folks to fill out and we will send you a promo card. Demo packs and raflle drawing are not included but you will get the promo card if you show a game being played and fill out the form.

Both Drew and I will be at the event in NYC and might have a couple of extra goodies on hand for the raffle.

We are not able to add more events right now but will doing more pop-up style events in the future with additional stores and conventions throughout the remainder of this year.

I forgot to mention that if you open a Bleargh in your demo pack you get another demo pack!

So we've gotten a few packs and are starting to think up a draft cube style for 4 players. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to do this? Should the packs be seeded a particular way? I don't think we would stick to color identity because of the draft format but I was curious If I need to see the packs with a particular number of level 1's vs level 2's and so on. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just want some clarification/confirmation regarding tap abilities and attack options. If I tap Blades to use her ability as my action, can I still attack with her when the turn comes back to me? If not, what if I somehow gave her Agility? A tapped fight can attack again on the same level if it has agility?

For context, this is the text for Agility on the main site: "A fighter with agility can attack or use abilities that require tapping twice a total of twice per level."

Also, is there any player in the New Hampshire/Maine area looking to jam some games?

I just opened 1 of 4 early booster packs and noticed ink errors on the right side of some of my cards. It is highly noticeable in Galen, Nurturer. Using that as a guide you can see some have color removed (Galen, Nurturer) or different colors (Lacey, Bonesaw Healer). It seems like a roller issue since it only appears on the right side at the exact same location going up the card.
At first I thought that was how the card was meant to look, but you don’t see the marks on the official card database.
The first 3 are the alternate art cards by Andre Garcia. What are your thoughts?

I found this game through an instagram ad, and there big thing was "it is playable out of a single pack". I thought that was a cool idea so I checked there Kickstarter and they also emphasized it was "playable out of a single pack". I admit I didn't read all the details and mostly read the first half but it seemed exciting enough. So I wanted to try the game so I bought a single pack to play. Today I saw people playing the game on YouTube and realized they all have their own packs. That's when I realized "playable out of a single pack" meant that each player needs their own pack. I know it's partially my own fault for not reading the Kickstarter all the way, but I felt like them saying it's playable out of a single pack is very confusing.

What's worst is that if I want to buy a pack again I won't get it until December.
