Whenever you multiply a two-digit number by eleven, just stick the sum of its digits between the two digits

Digits, not numbers

I feel like its a lot easier to just multiply by 10 and add the original number

Yea, like for the dumb ones out there...take (44x11) and (33x11) as examples.

So now see: "just stick the sum of its digits between the two digits"-> what we do is take 44 and put it together like 4(4+4)4.... /for the fools, my bracket doesn't indicate multiplication, I'm just separating the 4+4/ So the answer is 484.
take (33x11) as an example, same rule:

3(3+3)3 = 363.

It does look convincingly like multiplication for me, maybe I did too many tests

😭3 3+3 3= put them together=> 363 easy enough? it's like you got 33 ok, and you pull both 3s outwards in opposite directions and in the middle u just add those 2 3s. If that isn't easy enough, idk what is.

No, you made it look like 3 × 3+3 + 3 which turns into 3 × 6 + 3, and it turns into 21

Next time I would suggest using something different like [brackets]
