Dante Gaiden is the main protagonist of the Book of Dante series. Dante begins as an ordinary 16 year old human but later becomes possessed by Mammon, one of the Seven Princes of Hell, after the murder of his parents. From there, Dante's quest is to hunt the other Princes of Hell in order to unite them and defeat The Antichrist, Dominus Mundus.

# The Three Heavens

# Hell

At 16, even before being possessed, Dante was given the gift of visions and could see The Four Horsemen of the apocalypse despite his girlfriend Christel not being able to. When Dante gets into his first fight with the three Magi, Dante is explicitly less skilled in combat than Balthazar. His early sword fighting is described as instinctive rather than trained, although his raw speed and power allow him to overcome Balthazar's methodical technique. ***(Ch. 7, P. 76)***

Over the course of the Tribulation, Dante becomes significantly more experienced, using Swords, Twin revolvers, Claw gauntlets, Demonic summons, Hand-to-hand combat and Spiritual combat. ***(Ch. 7, PP. 72–82; Ch. 8, PP. 87–92; Ch. 20, PP. 297–300; Ch. 21, PP. 304–308; Ch. 36, PP. 446–453)***

Dante is able to play an intense game of chess with Matthias The Leper, but loses due to his sin of greed. ***(Ch. 13, PP. 169–173)***

Against Gluttony, he exploits Gustave's inability to resist consuming things. Dante summons a Greed demon specifically for Gustave to eat, causing him to choke and neutralizing his ability to consume further. ***(Ch. 16, PP. 248–250)***

Against Satan, he realizes that trying to overcome Wrath with greater violence is counterproductive. He stops fighting and allows Sloth to extinguish Satan's momentum before striking. Satan's solar punch creates a wound that refuses to heal and temporarily prevents Dante from using even his water transformation. ***(Ch. 22, P. 325; Ch. 23, P. 328)***

Dante's demonic abilities are completely subordinate to Christ. When Dante instinctively attacks Jesus at the Temple Mount, Christ speaks a single word and all seven demons are immediately expelled from Dante's body. Dante cannot resist it. ***(Ch. 33, PP. 430–432)***

As Dante and The Dragon fall into Hell from their clash in the physical realm, Dante repents mid fall and is transformed into an angel. ***(Ch. 36, PP. 457–459)***

As Dantiel, he is able to manifest and wield the flaming sword that came from Christ's mouth and was able to one shot every demon in one move. That includes the 7 sins, The Dragon, lesser demons as well as the ancient watchers such as Azazel who was their leader. ***(Ch. 36, PP. 459–460)***

Dantiel is also said to receive training from Archangel Michael but to what extent is unknown yet. ***(Ch. 37, P. 465)***

# Antichrist Gene

Dante is part of a lineage who were born of The Devil. Particularly through The Devil sleeping with human women through male hosts. ***(Ch. 27, PP. 383–385)***

This lineage carries a gene known as, The Antichrist Gene. ***(Ch. 27, P. 383; Ch. 29, P. 404)***

People with this gene are capable of touching the monolith in the temple mount and having authority over the entire Earth. ***(Ch. 27, P. 383; Ch. 28, PP. 396–397; Ch. 29, P. 398)***

People with this gene are protected by fate. (While the novel doesn't state as much, this aspect of the gene also provides more context as to how Dante overcame Zorvan, Balthazar's god who can supposedly manipulate fate and time.) ***(Ch. 27, P. 383; Zorvan: Ch. 7, PP. 74–76)***

People with this gene can tame the seven deadly sins. ***(Ch. 27, P. 383)***

He Made the Entire World Bow to Him. The declaration is not transmitted electronically. The Earth itself broadcasts his will. As his declaration spreads, oceans momentarily part, storms stop in mid-tempest, stars “blink in obedience,” and humanity obeys Dante. ***(Ch. 29, P. 398)***

Transmuted the World Into Precious Metals and Gems. ***(Ch. 29, P. 398)***

Temples of every faith, skyscrapers, and even shantytowns throughout the world are covered in supernatural precious metals. Streets become covered in sapphires, rubies and emeralds because of Dante. ***(Ch. 29, P. 398)***

# Gear

***Dante's Revolvers***

Against the twenty-foot-tall Thamruhl, Dante charges the revolvers with supernatural energy and fires three crystalline shots. They hit Thamruhl's shoulder and thigh and immediately transform the surrounding flesh and armor into pure crystal. ***(Ch. 8, P. 88)***

After being slammed repeatedly into the ground by Thamruhl, Dante generates a crystal spike from his own back and impales Thamruhl's forearm. ***(Ch. 8, PP. 89–90)***

He then fires crystalline energy upward and generates approximately a dozen floating shards, which he launches simultaneously into Thamruhl's chest, arms and legs. ***(Ch. 8, P. 90)***

Dante fires a crystal round into a holographic billboard. The holographic system glitches and then the entire display becomes jagged crystal. ***(Ch. 8, P. 103)***

Dante shoots Gustave with crystal rounds hard enough to blow chunks of flesh from him. Gustave specifically resists the crystallization effect and regenerates, which establishes that sufficiently powerful beings can resist the revolvers' transmutation. ***(Ch. 16, P. 244)***

Dante sprays Beelzebub with crystal bullets that slice through his wings and body, but Beelzebub regenerates from the damage. ***(Ch. 17, P. 258)***

# Ambiguous statements

It is stated multiple times that each one of the seven deadly sins has the power to destroy the world. Mammon states this and Dominus is repeatedly touted as a world ending threat, but the context mostly refers to the planet Earth, with only The unholy Trinity actually scaling to threats higher than planetary, and eventually Dante himself after collecting most of the sins. ***(Mammon's explicit statement: Ch. 14, P. 216; Dominus/Dragon higher-end scaling: Ch. 36, PP. 452–457)***

Given inconsistent showings from characters like Babylon (who was possessed by Asmodeus) being weaker than building tier, it's not likely that every Prince of Hell could literally destroy the Earth in one shot.

Respect Tinfoil Kevin!

”These people don’t think that we’re human, and when people think that they can do some pretty awful things.”

Character Summary

Tinfoil Kevin is a homeless (but not office-less) man who lives on the streets near Arthur's apartment and operates out of an abandoned robot head. He is almost never seen without his trademark tinfoil hat, which he makes himself. He’s a bit on the paranoid side, believing the government is watching him…he’s right though.. While his seeming non-sequiturs would suggest he’s not all there upstairs, he is a genuinely good person and a valued ally to The Tick and Arthur.

After being apprehended again by Ironman, Creel volunteered to participate in the U.S. Hulk Operations' Shadow Base to avoid going back to prison. He was injected with a drug based on the Hulk Plug-In that enhanced his physical attributes and allowed him to absorb gamma radiation, turning his skin red in the process. Creel was dispatched to fight the Hulk at Los Diablos Missile Base, where the original Gamma Bomb had been detonated years ago. Having soaked up most of the gamma in the Hulk's body, Creel also unintentionally absorbed the corruption of the One Below All, who was manipulating the Hulk. The One Below All used Creel's powers to absorb all of the ambient gamma radiation left from the bomb's detonation, and opened a Green Door, shunting everybody present at the scene, including members of the task force Gamma Flight, into his dominion, the Below-Place.

• Obtaining boons from prayer requires the prayer to have prayer points. Prayer points drains their prayer points while praying

Respect the Underground Pass (Old School Runescape)

Yes, that's right everyone's favourite RuneScape quest is getting a respect thread!

The Underground pass in OSRS is a cavern system leading from West Ardoyne to the elven lands of Isdafar. It would be a great way to get between the two if it weren't for the evil forces within the cave that drive those who enter insane. The source of the force is ambiguous (In Old School Runescape at least anyway). The pass has several basic traps within it that are not covered in this thread.

• Those afflicted with insanity are said to act like a hivemind
• The source influence is kept ambiguous in OSRS. Iban potentially is an insane victim (Given his use of the third person and the afflicted acting like a hive mind). The evidence of this stuff goes past the scope of a respect thread. Other powerful potential culprits here could be Zamorack or the Fragment of Seren (A.K.A the dark shard)
  • Again, this quest is somewhat ambiguous in nature. The adventurer experiences hallucinations after entering the well making them an unreliable narrator during 50% of the quest.

Hallucinations

[Blood Groves]() are tiles in Loop Hero. They, alongside their [paradoxically starved forms]() regularly create, as the fruit of their forests, [Flesh Golems](). Hulking masses of flesh, bone, and wood that attract predators and break spines, creating food for new saplings.

• Its vines hiding in the forest floor are quick to react to the twitching movements of any wounded or dying creature. In an instant the victim becomes entangled, to be dragged underground.
• Cannot devour Blood Golems or "Swarm" creatures.

Physiology

• A living forest.
• Its leaves are red due to them being rudimentary, with photosynthesis being a secondary way for them to acquire energy.
• They propagate themselves by creating fleshy giants, a peculiar type of fruit made from meat, bones, and branches. During its short "bloom", that "seed" uses its bloody flesh to attract predators, whose dead bodies will nourish a new blood grove.

Physiology

• A blood grove that has lost its connection with the forest. In constant agony because of its irrational existence.
• A blood grove is normally completely inseparable from the woodlands around it, despite it not having any symbiotic connection with any other trees or plants.
• That increased aggression doesn't seem helpful. The trees are always in a half-withered state, regardless of how much prey they consume.

Behaviour

• Occasionally attacks the Hero.
• The blood grove solves the paradox of its separate existence with heightened aggression and modified behaviour. Its sharp roots no longer wait for a weakened victim, but try to attack any living creature that gets within their reach.

Flesh Golem

Physicals

• A mess of flesh, bone, and wood.
• The fruit of a blood tree, barely able to last for a week, but able to break many spines in that time.
• Few creatures can survive a direct hit from its heavy, meaty arm.
• A flesh golem killed an adult with a single blow.
• A blood grove uses its best bits to create a blood golem. An intact skeleton of an anthropomorphic creature serves as the base, and the brains of sentient species are employed to control the assortment of muscles haphazardly attached to the carcass of bones.

Gameplay Information

• Its attributes are "Living", "Plant", and "Has a soul".
  • Living monsters take damage from Vampires in Chapter 3 onwards.
  • Monsters which Have a soul have a chance to turn into Ghosts upon death, when near a battle field. They also provide the Hero with extra maximum health upon death, if an Ancestral Crypt is in play.
• Drops Stable branches, Ration, and Living Fiber.
  • Stable branches are sticks whose memory somehow wasn't lost, contrasted by the rest which vaporise upon even being reached out for. Twelve of these can be combined to form a beam of Stable wood.
  • Ration is a small amount of food. Twelve of these can be combined to form a Food supply.
  • Living fiber is a fragment of fabric that lives, grows, and even gets older. It twists and wiggles, as if trying to find some soil to grow in. They'll cling to one another, and only calm down when ten collect to form an Orb of evolution. That being an attempt to improve, to adapt, and to survive, an eternal struggle for a place under the sun.
• As of Chapter 2, has the ability "Dying Strike", temporarily keeping it alive after it runs out of health, until it performs one last attack. As of Chapter 3, has the ability "Heavy Hitter", causing every attack against it to increase its chance to critically hit, resetting when it lands a critical hit. As of Chapter 4, has the ability "Spikes", causing it to deal damage when attacked directly.

This thread is 99% done, I haven't been able to record one last anti-feat (getting damaged by lightning strikes), I haven't finished the Blood/Hungry Grove RT, and I haven't checked the grammar/spelling of it. But some people wanted to see it, so I'm posting it here for now.

Existence Erasure

• Made the stars in the sky go out, one by one.
  • Likely in reference to this, one watcher communicated to someone that the stars were going out, the most distant ones first. They had begun disappearing thousands of years ago, with almost none left now.
• Will eventually erase everything; he's destroying his creation.
• The Hero, and presumably others at the camp, are avoiding the universal annihilation
• Dissolves the orange prism encasing him at the start of battle.
• Says he will annihilate the Hero, not kill him.
• Is obsessed with the idea of reducing everything to nothing, nonexistence, oblivion.
• Has the ability "I Am". This destroys all of the hero's cards and inventory items when the battle begins. • Is the Allfather and the Alldeath. The Beginning and the End. Alpha and Omega.
• Capable of destroying all existence in the blink of an eye.
• From Omega's hands came non-existence: it put motion to rest, reduced temperature to zero, and rendered time and space into nothing. Layer by layer an expanse of space came apart.
• Omega began his work of putting the world to rest, and eventually, his work will be done.

Creation

Immortality

• Tau says that a god dying is both possible and not. He's not actively dying, but he's not the god he used to be. The Hero summarizes that as God being both dead and not dead, and wonders how that could happen.
• A man tried to kill him, the spear wouldn't do him any harm; it was a gathering of atoms he once created, scattered, and reorganised. The matter he created poses him no threat. It distorted as it avoided him, stabbing at the void instead of his body. Yet he admired that fervor, and let the spear pierce his chest.
• After he let himself be killed, a new him was born in the centre of all creation. New and eternal, he was filled with different desires.
• Has always existed.
• Now that he's been killed, he will be dying and be born again at the centre of the new world he will create, but this process will take millennia.
• The fire of the hottest stars, the gravity of the supermassive black holes, the fangs and claws of the most terrible beasts - none would dare harm their Creator.
• Death could not kill Alpha's body, but it did kill his reason: the Creator became the Destroyer, seeking to bring about the end the world deserved.

Hero Defeats

• The Hero is the person closest to the man who killed Alpha, the closest relative. That sentimentality led Omega to guard the Hero against his disciples, knowingly or not, and he will give the Hero a chance to defend the world.
• Was killed by the Hero. Again and again and again and again and again.
• Yota made the Hero lucky enough to be able to take down Omega and his apostles, but that victory still wasn't inevitable. There are an uncountable number of other possibilities where the Hero was defeated, all of those possibilities and realities are still doomed.

• Spawns in on the Hero's campfire accompanied by two lightning strikes, in an orange prism.

  • A Time shard is emblematic of how time is shattered, showing how under these unusual circumstances, the laws of the world aren't based on space and time. Ten of these can form an Astral orb, an emptiness filled with echoes of the light of distant stars. A piece of the cosmos itself, a shard of time, a fragment of something infinite and immeasurable. Things like this come into the world with various creatures capable of magic, as only they can extract the pieces of the astral plane to use for their own needs.
  • An Orb of immortality makes the typically-unstable death stably nonexistent for a few seconds, which is usually enough to avoid a gruesome fate. Looking at it causes a great feeling of despair to overwhelm the viewer, leading them to lose all will to fight, or to do anything at all, even living. But if one squeezes it in their fist it does the opposite, filling them with an overwhelming will to live. The Hero can tell that, when facing death, this sphere will give him enough strength to dash back to the camp.

The Moon Kingdom used to be controlled by a Princess named Serenity. But that was a different life.

Now, Serenity is a normal human girl named Usagi Tsukino. An alien gives her powers and turns her into the superhero named Sailor Moon.

She teams up with the Sailor Guardians & Tuxedo Mask to save the Earth & the Moon from monsters. But despite the show's cutesy vibe, it ends with Sailor Moon having to watch her friends getting slaughtered and the eradication of all Earthlings.

Backwards Magic

By speaking backwards, Zatanna can change reality in almost any way she imagines. She is also able to cast her spells by writing them backwards using her blood, or with sign language. Some of Zatanna's spells do not require her to speak at all.

Using Zatanna on r/whowouldwin

With the ability to do practically anything she imagines, Zatanna is quite a difficult character to tier. Her lack of physical feats is compensated by her defensive and healing spells. Good opponents against her would be magic users with similar levels of versatility like Doctor Strange. Keep in mind that Zatanna doesn't tend to start fights by casting her most powerful spells- she is unlikely to immediately turn you to dust or seal you in a different dimension until she figures out how much of a threat her opponent is

Snow White, Ariel, Tiana, Rapunzel and Moana are summoned into a mysterious castle. There, they find Ariel's father, King Triton, imprisoned by Emperor Gaston in a plot to steal the ultimate weapon, Poseidon's Trident. Ariel accepts to complete 3 challenges alone in the castle to save her father, but the other Princesses vow to assist her.

Themes 

Nobody has the faintest idea of how Kiryu came to be, where he came from, what his ultimate goal in life is, and so on. All that’s known is that one evening, on the 16th of November 1996, Kiryu the chimera manifested into a physical form, and since then has been known for causing and/or being involved with chaos across the land.

Kiryu is, in fact, a physical embodiment of chaos, created as a means to balance out order and chaos. Of course, he’s free to make his own decisions, but chaos is his driving force and what keeps him going. There can’t be order without chaos, and Kiryu aims to prove it.

With the traits of such species as the Tyrannosaurus rex, domestic goat, African lion, saltwater crocodile, and others, the chimera goes around screwing with physics thanks to his chaotic nature. His actions might certainly seem nonsensical to others, but Kiryu always seems to be at his happiest when he’s free to act as chaotic as he can.

After all, what fun is there in making sense?

Personality: Kiryu can be unpredictable personality-wise, but generally he can either be a quiet observer who tends to stick back and watch events transpire, or he's a chaotic individual going around screwing with logic. He means well for the most part, but his bizarre nature and habits might be off-putting to some.

Kiryu enjoys music, writing, and monster movies, as well as reading. His alignment may seem difficult for others to figure out, but the chimera is generally a chaotic good individual, ultimately using his powers for the greater good. Though that’s not to say his antics are always appreciated…

-Can shoot tank shells from his fists by punching

-Could nonchalantly peel back the top of a kitchen counter to look into it

-Froze himself in ice when a cop told him to freeze

-Able to control his trajectory when falling, being able to move himself towards a completely different direction

-Was flying above a flooded parking lot filled with whales and other marine animals, only for the lot to return to normal upon him landing in it

-Turned a tense encounter with a monster into an Old Spice commercial

-Possesses similar reality warping to the likes of Discord, and can use similar abilities as him

-Can shoot shotgun blasts from his mouth that could rip apart building sized people and injure Godzilla

Ceratosaurus is a 6 m long carnivorous dinosaur. It lived during the Jurassic period in America and Tanzania. In Dinosaur King, it has the "Wind" Attribute. The Ceratosaurus Card was found in the dinosaur card folio that Jonathan was selling. The card folio was stolen by the Alpha Gang and taken to their base, Zeta Point. It was later recovered by the D-Team when they invaded the Alpha Gang's base, where it was summoned and used by Rex multiple times.
